Ugh so you're using the thrust bearing destroyer. Honestly, that pressure plate is nothing but trouble.
Outside of that, the clips may have been installed wrong (i.e. stretched too far)
There is generally always pressure in the pipes. I know why you did that to yours since they were mounted pretty low, plus you wanted to shut them up :)
- Tial doesn't (or shouldn't)
- Precision I dunno about.
- Synapse will if it's not correctly adjusted.
Wastegates by themselves use spring pressure. Manual boost controllers do as well. Electronic boost controllers on the other hand do not. A lot of modern vehicles have electronic boost controllers built into the ECU as well.
What I'm trying to say is that a normal wastegate won't be affected...
It's not what you drive, it's how you drive it :)
I'm assuming it's auto, which setting are you running the tranny in? Toyotas usually have a switch for more aggressive transmission shifting that's great for power....bad for gas milage.
Keep in mind that colors are different prices as well. Depends a lot on what color you want done, single or dual stage, etc...
Honestly, national chains are probably where I would go since they have a warranty. If you do a local guy, you won't get that. Not saying that a small shop won't do...
I think their universal one will fit of you want to use it. Looks ok on a race car, if a little too high (not like that can't be changed)
Rear wing + FWD = does not compute
Those look terrible... Hell, the second one isn't even at an angle of attack that would do anything.
Real wing...
