One word, as already pointed out: MacNoodlewobbly (Thank you, IJ. LOL!) It's like comparing apples to a bulldozer. Lies!

    Divorce downpipe gasket

All stock gaskets are supposed to be used. You should check around on ebay for some capitalization and punctuation, too. :sarcasm:

    Flywheel bolts keep backing off...

When I ordered flywheel bolts from the dealership, they were all black.

Filling in 89+ trim / making flat.

Send a PM to Keith H. and ask what he used on his front bumper. It's flexible, and supposed to be really good. (He filled his license plate groove, and the mounts for the lower grill as well.)

My restoration project - Rusty 89

Looks incredible, Adam. :) stock alternator bracket and radiator brackets could use some powdercoat/paint I'm not criticizing, LOL, they just jumped out at me since the rest of the engine bay is what my dreams are made out of.

    Jimi's build update

No problem. :) For what it's worth, the way you broke up the coils looks much better to me than the giant turd on the cam covers in stock form. :)

    Mad mad mad

Every shop in my area takes cars for a test drive afterward. That's why i don't leave my cars at any shops, ever. Only things I bring my car to shops for would be alignment, (and I test it afterward), and inspections. Everything else, I do at home.

project bmw before and after, and never ending.

LOL! If I was doing it on a parts car, I would think of doing the same! My heater works on all settings just fine. You got a newer CC unit? (if you got the digital one, you'll have to swap out the entire heater box!) There's probably a way to test it, but I don't know off-hand. I'd try...

    from rich to lean

When you let out of the throttle quickly, the fuel injectors are cut (do not inject fuel), which is why you're going from rich, to super lean (usually off the charts lean), then when you bring it to an idle, the injectors are firing again. Any zero-throttle, in-gear coasting will be full lean...

    mk4 rear end in a mk3?

If you're going through that trouble, go with a Ford 9" setup like IJ.'s Not to mention that the MKIV rear isn't a good match for the MKIII's transmission ratios.

project bmw before and after, and never ending.

Those three didn't really bother me, actually. I used a stubby ratcheting wrench hooked to a tiny 1/4" adapter with a socket on it. LOL. The one thing that gave me issues was one of the anti-theft bolts on the underside of the steering column. I got one out within a minute or so, and the other...

    vacuume at idle

My car was pulling 23 in/hg^2 when it was on the road. The stock gauge is fairly accurate, albeit, very slow. If you've increased boost, get an aftermarket gauge.

    my projector retrofit

My apologies! Paint the housing black. The reflector is no longer needed when using the projector housing. :) Besides, it'll look badass when it's blacked out!

    my projector retrofit

Here is a prime example of what you DO NOT want! Ugh. I'm glad you live one state away from me. Halogen housings are NOT designed for HID illumination, which is why you get all that glare. You said it yourself, they're high enough that you're worried about getting tickets for them. Yeah...

Anyone with access to a CNC help me out???

Al, good to see you're still around. :) I posted that ATP link above, too. Mo's gotta get this car done! (So he can motivate me to finish mine! LOL) I edited my comparo to include the other ATP piece.
