Just keep in mind it's flammable at 51% Van, I was a bit shocked when I did a burn test with mine as I'd been spraying it though the Washers all over the car, I was mixing 50/50 but adding a Bug remover that was mostly .... Methanol... ;)

I do something similar for rear mains when ever I build an Engine, I take a 1mm cut off the Seal housing where it mates to the block moving the seal back on the crank to virgin steel :)

Never said ANYTHING about the Valve sinking 8 thou... and people wonder why I don't bother helping here as much as I used to...
AGAIN if you set the lash to MINIMUM on a new valve job then when the engine is at OPERATING TEMP you run the risk of hanging the valve off the seat and torching...

The Gap closes down as the Valve "sinks" on the seat so it you set to minimum you end up with 0 lash or a hung open valve when at operating temp..

Can actually buy pliers to do this job, saw a set when I visited a Radiator manufacturer here in Australia.
There is also a RADIATOR FIN COMB AIR CONDITIONING STRAIGHTENER available that would make the job 1000x easier for $20..
