Keep in mind most electric fans base their CFM with no load...
Also, generic aftermarket e-fans are garbage in general. If you have to use an e-fan, use an OEM one from another car.

Nah, it's just that asphalt will melt in the Texas sun :) Hell, even the concrete will buckle if it gets hot enough to expand past it's expansion joints (it's happened before).

The issue is the firing pin doesn't have a return spring (early ones did, and it was part of the original design), and it's a tapered hole. The Murray pin is stainless so it doesn't rust as well.
On the mag, it's up to you, but stripper clips are harder to use than a removable magazine :)...
I can walk out to the miata and find unsealed relays under the hood ;)
The have covers over them and they're mounted the correct way. Most vehicles aren't designed for submersion...
