what is this catalytic converter you speak of? :sarcasm:
not sure how you are going to run the two magnaflow's under the car, my vote would be for the way i think you have it planned: Magnaflow => vibrant super quiet resonator => ypipe => resonated tips
if all else fails throw more resonators...
i vote welded if you are going to hit up some events in the near future, if not, save for a KAAZ or something. i still need to pull mine out and see what the hell it is! it seems to lock alright when i throw the rear out, but it needs some work.
add to that that i hate mysteries, so i gotta...
your car is 4x4ing though boris :biglaugh: lower it moar!
also 225 is too narrow, 235 is better for that offset and width id wager. if it was 9.5" and like 0 offset them maby 225 with a tad o camber would do, but i need a lil more rubber than a 225 i think to help give me a little more grip.
If you are going to buy the parts first, just make sure you have the bill handy so you can return them if they arn't going to fit the way you want.
with the one magnaflow (3" in dual 3" out) i have and the 2 18" long vibrant resonators, my 1JZ is pretty quiet, but still sounds great.
i...
i have noticed the wheels sit in the fender does change slightly depending on how much the car is lowered. how wide the wheel is also plays into the equation.
there will be a difference between how a 9" +20 and a 9.5" +20 fits.
my fronts are 8" wide and about +40 right now. it was alright on...
repost.... :arcadefre
its a car here in calgary with something like 92 km's on it and all the original plastic coverings on the interior even. interesting, over priced, old news.
loud as hell. not for everyone, but it would be pretty awesome sounding i bet if you could deal with the extra attention from the cops and scaring children. not that i'd know :sarcasm: :biglaugh:
ask and ye shall receive. Dont mind the terrible wheel fitment...
Just make sure you measure everything up under there. with a cat, muffler, y pipe, and 2 resonators / smaller mufflers you might run out of room fast. :)
good luck with the project, its good to see more mk3...
new pics look great boris. saved em to my boris folder on my compy.
you need to get video action going on next time. also come up north for practice this summer :naughty:
Yep, completely custom. It was done by Jeff Lange's brother Jason. The fit and finish are perfect there is no other word for his work but perfect in my opinion.
