    7MGE Vs 7MGTE REMATCH w/ Video

That's all well and fine, but there's no way the N/A miraculously gained +30bhp and +65ft. lbs. tq from I/H/E to be able to walk even a stock MKIII Turbo, much less a turbo automatic that takes all the guesswork out of shifting. (unless the tranny was crap, of course) Did you have weight...

Dave, glad you like it! Yeah, de-pinning the ECU connector is tough without tiny screwdrivers...

Dave, glad you like it! Yeah, de-pinning the ECU connector is tough without tiny screwdrivers! But once you get 'em in there the pins will pop right out right away. :) Thanks for the compliment, I take pride in my work!

    7MGE Vs 7MGTE REMATCH w/ Video

So you're telling me that a 210bhp (with those mods), 188rwtq (approximate) beat a 230/254 car? I/H/E on an GE gets you barely anything. I= most likely sucking in hot engine bay heat. H= producing MORE engine bay heat, E= flows a bit better. Those mods alone are not enough for an N/A to take a...

    Cool/Rare parts thread?

Bubble markers aren't exactly rare, nor are rain guards. Replicated blinker covers are definitely not rare. The real blinker covers are pretty scarce, especially if you're pre '89. Factory tool kit is still in lots of cars, including mine. (actually that's a lie, it's in the garage)

What bellhousings will bolt to a 7mgte?

Yeah, ok. If you have an r-series transmission, then you have a custom bellhousing. The only bolt-on option would have been if you had a w series tranny, in which case you can bolt a 7MGTE to a w series easily using the w58 N/A Supra bellhousing. Bolting the 7M to an r-series truck...

    stock turbo manifold hp limit?

There have been plenty of guys who have made 500+ on the stock manifold. Would I do it? No. But it certainly can be done.

Look what EBAY crap did!!!! Now Code 24! Pic Inside!

No. Do not buy a K&N. Oiled filters FTL. Especially when you've got a very sensitive AFM just behind it! Buy an Apex-i, or AEM dryflow.

    Weighed my car today!

All the tar sound deadening that's plastered all over the floors, tranny tunnel, and rear inner wheel wells weighs in at around 45lbs. It's also kindof a bitch to remove.

    '95 BMW M3 - shaeff's summer daily driver

LOL! No, my house is firmly planted for sure. My Pickup is still on all fours! And I've got the M3 done as of a few weeks back. Tightened up the rear of the car SO much. All that work was most definitely worth it!

You will be blown away at the difference. If you think your car feels good now... I'd love to see the look on your face when you get this fixed.

Heater core coolant hose melts.. any tips?

Agreed. Looks like the coolant got pretty hot and caused pressure build up. Time to find the leak, whether it be a pinhole in a hose, or a BHG. I suggest getting a UV dye kit and putting that in your radiator. Drive for a bit, then park in a dark area and find the leak with the detection kit...

    Supra vs. M3

Huh, I wasn't aware of the stacked design of the Active chip. Weird. I wonder what the deal is with it. I will do some digging. Makes more sense if he's got the 3.2L block. He essentially has an OBD1 S52, which can be a potent N/A motor. Tuning them is much easier, and the extra torque...
