So I've been cleaning up my front mudflaps this weekend, installed my windshield mouldings, and today my replica Euro-spec rear mudflaps arrived from Australia! They're quite decent quality, obviously I would much rather have OEM, but haven't been able to find the correct ones in good enough...
That I don't know. :( Club4AG, perhaps Hachiroku.net (though that's more for PacNW). There's also AE86FC I suppose. I haven't actually tried to buy one in a long time, lol.

Thanks. I'm not saying I'd never do a MK3, but it's of a similar vintage, and so getting things can be pretty hard (especially since people didn't seem to do the same sort of stuff with the cars so parts ended up getting discontinued longer ago). Finding stuff for the A70 can be even harder than...
So, it's been a while, last year I ended up driving the car a bit, I had all of my TRD bushings installed front and rear, as well as my TRD 2-way LSD. Taking out the RH rear axle proved to be quite the challenge, even by AE86 rear axle standards. I ended up removing the axle housing from the car...
There are 2 types of pumps, with or without PPS.
1986-88 No cars had PPS
1989-92 All Turbo cars have PPS
1989-92 N/A without Sport Package have no PPS
1989-92 N/A with Sport Package have PPS
If your car is a 1990 turbo, it does have PPS (aka Hydraulically Reactionary Electronic Control).
PPS...
Easiest to drill and tap, the Aristo used a hydraulic brake booster, so there was no vacuum port on earlier engines.
Alternatively you could get a Supra/later Aristo upper intake manifold and then you would already have the appropriate hole.

Yeah Dan, we should get together with Gord, he's been avoiding us all, building his neat stuff by himself. ;)
Did you ever get that tranny issue sorted Gord? I saw something on Facebook about it and meant to follow up with you. I can talk with the trans guy that assembled it, but I'm sure it...
Pinstriping never came from the factory on any North American Supra ever. It was done after the fact (possibly before the first owner even got their car, but that doesn't mean it came that way from the factory).

It has been a really long time since I've actually looked at one on a Supra. I did some research after posting and it seems like it potentially is not a tapered thread (M16x1.5 may be right). I also did see some aftermarket parts options (like Standard's TS73T sender) that do have an o-ring on...
It's a tapered pipe thread, it should have thread sealant on it as per the manual. New sensors come with thread sealant on them. There is not supposed to be a gasket or o-ring and that is not a spot meant for an o-ring, the threads just end before the hex head. Whoever put an o-ring on your car...
A number of changes occurred in 1994 actually.
The R154 was first used in production in February, 1986; for the most part it stayed the same until 1994. In early 94 the shifter type changed to an externally mounted type with a shaft and a tripod mount. In early-mid 94, the 2nd gear synchro hub...
They were used in various vehicles equipped with the 1JZ-GTE in Japan until 2004.
There were various updates made over the years internally as well.
In North America we only had the early versions 86-92.

Know what is almost as annoying as a parts guy who doesn't know what he's talking about? A customer that thinks all parts guys don't know what they're talking about, haha. Customers man, customers.
Still, I know how you feel.
Jeff
It seems that it is as it is designed to be, there is nothing wrong with it.
This is an upgraded bar, of course it is different than the factory one. If it was the same as the factory one, you might as well just buy the factory one, lol.
Jeff
The entire Supra scene is definitely on a decline, less cars out there as they get older and damaged/rusty/thrown away. That said, I think some of the activity has also moved away from forums and onto places like Facebook as well.
