Sweet its going to be awesome to have two Supra's out there I can't wait! I should have my Kumho Ecsta XS's by then I'll be ordering them in about two weeks so hopefully they're there by then otherwise I'll be finishing off the last 4/32s of tread left on my BF G's.
Is anyone planning on going to the open lapping day in Shawano on April 10th? I'll probably go and watch that day but this will be the first summer after building my Supra and I don't want to end up blowing it up right away so I'll wait until the 17th and do the actually autox at WIR.
Not true at all I used to autox my 91 NA with stock suspension and brakes and I took 7th overall out of 64 people in PAX times and 15th overall in RAW times. The point of autox is to take the car out of the equation and determine the skill of the person.
I said that I put new soft lines on, I replaced them with braided stainless ones. As for the bleeding procedure I started on the driver rear then went passenger rear then I moved up front but that still didn't seem to help. I'm going to try again in a day or two. Because I was just thinking that...
So I just got done replacing all 4 calipers and put on stainless brake lines. So my problem is that I bled the front brakes no problem no more air. When I went to do the rears it took a long time to get a steady stream of fluid to come out because the proportioning valve was stuck shut so I...
I ended up just unbolting the rack and shifting it a little bit enough so i could spin the whole rod and bracket out at once. then when i had it off i used a monkey wrench to get the big nut loose. It was a pain in the ass the first time. If I had to do it again it probably wouldn't be so bad.
i'd rather not read 2000 some pages when i'm sure someone could just come right out and give me an answer. you don't need to be a dick. and i messed up offsets are visa versa
I'm looking at getting some 17x8s front and 17x 9s rear with 35mm offset front and 38mm offset rear. whats the widest tires i'll be able to fit. i have megan racing coilovers set pretty low.
So i undid the rack hold downs and was able to move it enough to get the inner off with the bracket. got it all back together with my new inner. now just need to press out my old lower control arm bushings and press in my energy suspension ones and put everything back together. I replaced every...
yeah i just got the bracket loose and realized its left handed thread so i have to take the rack off anyways. my thoughts were if i could break it loose from the tierod that i could hold the bracket stationary and unscrew the tierod out of it. but of course thats not how it works.
