You can see the editing...one frame, supra's there. Next frame, explosion covers the screen and then the shell (no glass, btw) gets dropped from out of view. It's a common trick to keep from actually destroying someone's car, because it's usually one of the production staff that has to 'volunteer' their vehicle.
