un burnt fuel, leave the timing at 10 degrees, check your o2 sensors to see if they are working properly(good wave form), and ignition. are you boosting ? maybe boost leak ? keep us posted

in my other cressida, i drilled that hole, cordless hand drill ftw LOL. put arp head studs(90ft lbs), and a 2mm MHG (overkill i know, but the head was machined so boohoo). the drill bit walked, but eh. good enough. hte hole i drilled is actually slightly bigger then the other coolant...

sounds like somethings loose, crank bolt have to be pretty tight, and yes they do come apart. have you checked the timing ? boost leak maybe ?

i own a cressida. 7m out, 2jz-ge with w58 in mk3 supras were the first car i fell for, then the mk4's came along. meh. i like to work on cars :) ha what a sucky introduction. ill be snooping around for parts, chill in the crowd. pictures when stuff said is all done. :)
