the 2jzge ffim. do you have any pictures on fitment on a mk3 chassis for brake booster clearance and such? also do you have results on flow testing them too?

This is something im also interested in but i haven't found results on flow test yet.
The thread on supraforums that supposedly was going to test it was a flop.

hi everyone, so im in the process of doing a 2jzgte swap in my mk3 supra but i couldn't find anywhere if i need to swap my drive shaft to handle the power. does anyone know if the 7mge drive shaft is ok to use for this swap?
What's up, im just here to meet some cool people and learn as much as I can about supra's and any kind of mod that I can do to them.
Hi Lrv,

For 7MGTE harnesses are offering a refurbish, it's basically like a brand new harness except that there are a few connectors (TPS and Knock come to mind) that are discontinued and we cannot source new. So we do have to reuse a few connectors here and there but by and large it is brand new, that's why we call it a refurbish. The price is $999 and you MUST supply the 7MGTE core along with the old 7MGE harness if you are doing a swap (so we can attach the correct body plugs). As for the W58, the connector is different but we can swap that for you no problem. If you have any other questions please contact us at sales@tweakdperformance.com for a faster response :)

Nah mine is and has been a project car for a long time now. I had a DD 87 turbo too but I sold it awhile ago. Maybe someday I'll be back no money for supras right now! Keep the mk3 scene warm in milwaukee for me.
It's been ok. wife / kid now. Still have my purple car too but just like you it sits in a garage. No money for it though. Best of luck let me know how it goes.
Thanks man. The shifter is actually the stock shifter cut short, they call it the SOGI mod, however, I bought the car with the shifter already that way so I didn't have to do the work lol and yea stock is ridiciously long. From the looks of it, it was cut and welded back together to keep the threading to put back on the stock shifter knob or any knob with the threading inside. Hope that helps.
Loving the Supra. One question though. I noticed your shifter is much much smaller than stock(stock is ridiculously long in my opinion) and I was wondering what type of short throw you used and how you went about getting it like that. Did you just chop off some of the stock shifter? Yours is almost so small it looks like one in an mx-5 lol. It looks like a proper sports car shifter.
