squid, yeah i know, but the ones we get issued dont get those. sorry rakkasan i didnt see your earlier post. im with the 807 med com.. mos 63 b wheeled vehicle mechanic.. (aka security, gunner etc) but my mechanic buddies are with various combat units like 10th Mountain and 2 are in the 101st Airborne. as for the m14 thats just info my buddies tell me after seeing many combat arms soldiers with them overseas. and cmon bro... im not tryin to bs anyone im just giving my thoughts...
i think its time to upgrade is all.. and while you guys might not have had any problems... ive always had a few problems.. with the rifle i mean.. and im one of those guys that actually clean it not just so itll pass the armorer's inspection but so its freakin clean, lubed and ready to go ya know?
