make sure the rest of the bushings are good, otherwise you'll still get wheel hop. I have the full set of A1 arms. They look AWESOME and tighten up the slop but i still get wheelhop.

I got wheel hop with my Lipp trac arms, but I didn't expect it to fix that completely. It did dull my case of hop, however.
Not to mention that my stock arms were bent pretty hard, and a lot of wheel hop can be attributed to quite a bit of slop in the subframe bushings.

The lipp traction arms are pretty damn beefy, but the A1's are also better than what it came out with from the factory, plus the A1's have heim joints whereas the Lipp use poly bushings.

LIPP i already bent an A1, not from torque but from something i totally dont even remember and if its something that simple, they're not very strong.

I got LIPP Alm. ones but some people have said those break too? IDK I am on a stock 1J but they handled the 600 rwhp 7M that was in it before.

i bought the a-1 arm's.they don't replace the rubber bushing's in the spindle,so maybe some play there to contribute to wheel hop

pay a decent fabricator to make you some out of cromolly w/ a hiem joint and uses a 5/8 boilt

I built these.. what I ended up doing was sleeving the factory shaft with cromolly and adding the joint at the end it was realy simple and there is no way im going to break them unless somthing else is wrong

Traction arms are only a piece of the wheel hop puzzle you guys... This is just another part of modding where you start a domino effect... When you mod one thing, you have to have supporting mods...

LIPP by far is a better traction arm... However, make sure you replace the bushings, and upgrade your suspension...

Good on a drag car though, correct... Correct me if Im wrong, or misunderstanding the concept, but they are designed to literally cock the rear axle angle so when you launch it will correct the car's tendancy to pull one way or the other...

Dunno setting an IRS up for drag racing is a bit of a black art!

There is so much going on back there but at least we have one of the best designs for an IRS going so it doesn't have a lot of the bad habits that some have!
