As Winston Wolf in Pulp Fiction said "Let's not start sucking each others dicks quite yet fellas..."
No air conditioning.
Limited cruising range. (I get 425 miles on a single tank of fuel in my 1995 Supra Hardtop with the cruise control on during a long trip. I get over 325 around town... And filling my tank takes 5 minutes, not hours of charging.)
The car is basically an open wheeled tube chassis vs. two full weight, luxury interiored supercars.
It's not a fair test or an even comparison.
Show me an electric that can grant me all the creature comforts I've come to expect from my cars, and give me the performance I'm accustomed to, and give me the cruising range I get with my current rides and I'll sign right up. I'd even pay a small premium for such a vehicle.
For example, with enough money and time, I could design and build a 1.2 liter engine car that would toast any Supra if I were allowed to build it light enough and missing a lot of things that a car truly needs to be a car. This doesn't mean that I've built something usable, or something that will dethrone the Supra. I've just built a curiosity. And that's all this car is.
That's not a real car. It's kick ass no doubt, and I think electrics do have potential. But they are not ready, and there are some SEVERE engineering and scientific hurdles to get over before the electric can compete head on with the gasoline powered competition.
