cool vids but those "gas" cars were lucury sports car weighing double what that electric car wieghed or close to double anyway, also both of those cars are geared more for top end, I'll stick with gasoline or alcohol and some good old fashioned boost.

X-1's 1/4 mile time: 11.1 seconds.

That's pretty quick. The turbocharged Elise is 12.3 sec (http://forcedfed.com/elise/turbokits.html) with the 275hp package. 11.9 sec with the 380hp package. I'm guessing that the Tesla is heavier than the X-1, and possibly has less power.
