Well, after about 5 years I'm back in the mkiii club. I used to have a red '89 turbo (sold to Malloynx) and some of you older guys may remember me as punkybooster89t on sf. I'm back with an '87 turbo targa 5spd.
The interior is a MINT cloth maroon. The original floor mats are even in excellent shape. The 140k mile 20 year old paint is really clean, only the front bumper and nose piece need attention. The body is really nice, just a few typical dings and absolutely ZERO rust anywhere. I'm going to town on it with a clay bar, wax, etc. in the near future.
Some goodies:
- slightly upgraded rebuilt engine w/mhg + arps...ready for some power!
- ct26 60-1 turbo
- 3" dp
- 3" test pipe
- 3" Blitz Nur Spec cat (err less) back
I think that's about it. It has a pretty nice stereo setup also, but that wasn't a selling point. It definitely needs a suspension upgrade as it's like a boat in choppy water sometimes and I'm sure it's all original, plus the 4x4 look...Many goodies on the way to take advantage of the upgraded turbo :evil2: Some quick pics, say "hi" to my neighbors, lol.
Also something I found kind of neat, the title states it weighs in at 3512lbs, not bad for a pig supra, but it is an '87.
