IJ. said:Don: That car is just plain FUCKING HORRIBLE.
"Hey guys lets make the inside look like Jabba the Hutt's kid sister's cooch"
"Here's another great idea lets make it bounce up and down"
"Whoa real spoked wheels are gonna be great on a 3600lb car"
I'm all for playing the Devils Advocate but if you think that that is good in any way shape or form you need to hang your head in shame.
It makes Lam's car look classy....

It seems like after every large car meet or magazine article about the supra comes out, everyone will have a good old bitch and moan about how the MKIII never gets a serious mention and how everyone's car looks the every MKIII looks the same, then someone thinks outside the box and their creation gets slated...

DonS1mpson said:I'm not saying that the car is nice, I'm saying that it is different and different is what we need as a scene. If people weren't complaining because the MKIII gets looked over, then I wouldn't be here defending this monstrosity, but it's the fact that nearly everybody on this forum wants to raise the profile of the A70, but next to nobody makes a serious effort at doing anything special.
A part of the reason for this is well known: 97% of Supra owners are lowballers who are too busy pinching pennies to build a proper car. The other why I think the MKIII scene goes nowhere is because the scene itself is scared of change. We're stuck in the rut of broke teenagers buying a MK3, slapping TT wheels on it and uping the boost 'till it blows up.
I'm not asking for people to go out and build their very own purple and gold lowrider MK3, I'm asking people to at least admire that this guy actually did something different.

at least he didnt waste a good supra; 89+... or even a turbo one for that matter. this car is old to say the least. it was probably done in the 90's. NO ONE uses hydraulics anymore. everyone is going with air.
however, id like to see that bitch hop and see how long those wires last and how well the chassis holds up.
