No kidding huh...

And why? Because the car is different and therefore what the MKIII scene needs - Do you guys think this car would represent the scene better if it was just another MKIII with MKIV rims, a lip and a slight drop?

I believe in each an to their own, but damn. There is a line, and thats it!
Spokes, shag and hydrolics on a supra. Naw man! Thats to much!

If you believe that represents the car well. I have a 1990 drift voyager I'll let go for cheap..... Everything has its purpose.

fuck crushing it, I'd drive the bitch to TX2K8....

the back would be loaded with sledgehammers and there would be a charge to get swings at it...

Nothing against Lowriders as I've seen some very classy impalas and caddy's with very well done tuck & roll leather interiors in more normal colors like white, red, tan or black, but purple and gold shag... someone drop a lit cig in there by accident.:naughty: Even is it was only "dingle balls" around the window, it would still be too much.
As for the lines of a Supra being used as a Lowrider... Just not there... Lowriders, IMO, should be classic american non muscle cars or pickups or big euro type sadans.
Like it was said just when I thought I'd seen it all.... crush the sucker, it's a shame to our community.

Don: That car is just plain FUCKING HORRIBLE.

"Hey guys lets make the inside look like Jabba the Hutt's kid sister's cooch"

"Here's another great idea lets make it bounce up and down"

"Whoa real spoked wheels are gonna be great on a 3600lb car"

I'm all for playing the Devils Advocate but if you think that that is good in any way shape or form you need to hang your head in shame.

It makes Lam's car look classy....

I'm not saying that the car is nice, I'm saying that it is different and different is what we need as a scene. If people weren't complaining because the MKIII gets looked over, then I wouldn't be here defending this monstrosity, but it's the fact that nearly everybody on this forum wants to raise the profile of the A70, but next to nobody makes a serious effort at doing anything special.

A part of the reason for this is well known: 97% of Supra owners are lowballers who are too busy pinching pennies to build a proper car. The other why I think the MKIII scene goes nowhere is because the scene itself is scared of change. We're stuck in the rut of broke teenagers buying a MK3, slapping TT wheels on it and uping the boost 'till it blows up.

I'm not asking for people to go out and build their very own purple and gold lowrider MK3, I'm asking people to at least admire that this guy actually did something different.

I don't think I'll ever understand the MKIII community.

It seems like after every large car meet or magazine article about the supra comes out, everyone will have a good old bitch and moan about how the MKIII never gets a serious mention and how everyone's car looks the every MKIII looks the same, then someone thinks outside the box and their creation gets slated...

And why? Because the car is different and therefore what the MKIII scene needs - Do you guys think this car would represent the scene better if it was just another MKIII with MKIV rims, a lip and a slight drop?

Get out.

at least he didnt waste a good supra; 89+... or even a turbo one for that matter. this car is old to say the least. it was probably done in the 90's. NO ONE uses hydraulics anymore. everyone is going with air.

however, id like to see that bitch hop and see how long those wires last and how well the chassis holds up.

I want to go buy this thing just so I can make a video of that. Too bad it's not $500 like it should be.
