Meh, you'll see what I'm saying after TX2008 when all the whiners come out of the woodwork.

Get out.

lol, sorry, but there's tasteful modification and then there's that. It just doesn't fit my style, but keep in mind I love when people do put in nice body kits. Hell, I don't even mind some of those "park bench" spoilers/wings, but yeah.....this is bad IMO

I'm not saying it's a nice car, or even a good idea, but I just admire the fact that someone had the balls to do something different.

Different isn't always better.

The MKIII is a beautiful car as is. There are some mods Jay (Suprahero) and I agree to disagree on. We won't get into those, and no, Jay you are not getting a gold Supra for Christmas.:3d_frown:

It's all about what you like. For example,

I want a clean Supra, and a fast Supra. But like many n/a owners here, I don't have the cash being young to make it fast. This doesn't mean I'm going to fake it by throwing a boost gauge on and a whistle tip. I mean putting work into improving what ever you have to work with. If I can't turbo, I'm at LEAST getting out the polish and going to town on my engine parts.

Call me crazy, but here's my dream car.

A clean, non-turbo MkIV, 5spd, targa, black on tan leather interior.

It's all about what you like, but this Supra, is a fine example of what I call... Crap. But good effort, and if he/she likes it, wonderful. You have proved to the Supra community you have a horrible taste in cars.

I'm not saying that the car is nice, I'm saying that it is different and different is what we need as a scene. If people weren't complaining because the MKIII gets looked over, then I wouldn't be here defending this monstrosity, but it's the fact that nearly everybody on this forum wants to raise the profile of the A70, but next to nobody makes a serious effort at doing anything special.

A part of the reason for this is well known: 97% of Supra owners are lowballers who are too busy pinching pennies to build a proper car. The other why I think the MKIII scene goes nowhere is because the scene itself is scared of change. We're stuck in the rut of broke teenagers buying a MK3, slapping TT wheels on it and uping the boost 'till it blows up.

I'm not asking for people to go out and build their very own purple and gold lowrider MK3, I'm asking people to at least admire that this guy actually did something different.
No no no and NO!

Different isn't "good" when it's like that.

Disgusting comes to mind.

That car is a joke nothing more.
