I love the power and response that torque gives you from displacement. How instant it is. Now I finally get the whole 1JZ lack of low end torque thing.

This GTO was POWERFUL.
gto is cool and all, but man is it a boat! You thought the supra is heavy, that thing is a tank. +1 for supra being able to out handle that thing
the LS1 is a bad engine, I owned a 98 Z28 for a few years and the power is just amazing, right there all the time and smooth. I will put on in a MKII one day.........
Hah! If i still own a supra by the time an LS7 crate costs less than all my belongings put together, It will be in this car

but dry sump woulda made mk2 fittment easier.
so i decided on 6l lq4...half the price over ls>65 lb difference
carbed, l92 heads, good cam, headders, 550 hp, for around 4500 done,use that gto front sump pan to make it work...now all i need is time, just stopped by the house to "gear up" truck prolly won't see the house (and likely sm)for like a month.

I ran a LS2 GTO on the freeway with a budy in the car(Rohan) It wasn't that impressive. At 1 bar I was right next to him untill I ran out of room at 130 MPH.
