The 1Js lowend is fine for women and beating 7MGE's out of the hole. No inline 6, 2.5 or 3.0, is going to have the kind of lowend a big liter V8 does.

The stock dyno's I have seen say otherwise. So do the inlines I work on.

I ran a LS2 GTO on the freeway with a buddy in the car(Rohan) It wasn't that impressive. At 1 bar I was right next to him untill I ran out of room at 130 MPH.

Honestly I've driven LS1's and LT1's and it just couldn't give the kick in the seat like a turbo car (t2 rx7 at the time). And since my dad works on a bunch of 350's he's had a bunch of modified ones come in and I was very unimpressed. Do NOT put that in you Supra JOHN FORCE! you sound like you need a bigger turbo.

Oh, no joke, V8 powerplants are not my cup of tea, but with the right modifications (more than just a $!%@ing Intake and "straightpipes"), they can very much so throw you back in your seat.

In other news...I love giving people the benefit of a doubt.
Accelerate like a Moped on the street, but once she starts spooling, ....C-ya.

I've got all due respect for V8's. I just enjoy the purity and sound of an Inline Six with boost. Quite the attention getter and not something you see everyday in a sports car.

Everyone needs to stop being uptight. Joe - I'm sure 99.9% of what you're saying is just joking, but you know *damned* well why 7M's are known for BHG's and RK's...And you also know the capabilites and reliability factors in them too when they are taken care of.
