So today I got ISS, in school suspension. Over me writing wtf on a paper and handing it to a fellow classmate. Which we threw away after laughing. The reason I wrote this is because the kid in front of me leaned back in my face so I pushed him forward, and he yelled WHAT THE FUCK. Right in front of the teacher. After we threw the paper away, someone got it out of the trash and apparently put it on the wall...and I got blamed for it, even though the teacher saw me throw the paper away.

So I got in trouble for writing wtf on a paper, while the kid that actually said what the fuck is sitting in class....wow, WTF

I never knew that WTF was worse than what the fuck....

Im not pissed about the ISS thing, because I did write it, so Im responsible. Im pissed that now Im no longer exempt from my finals because of it, AND the little fucker that said the phrase didnt even get a slap on the hand...

Government schools merely prepare you to be a good, submissive citizen. They're getting you used to yielding at any sign of authority. What absolute shit.

And yeah.

Take it up with your administrator. And the principal if you have to.

Their reaction to the paper was probably brought on by one of their 'Zero Tolerance' policies, or as I like to call them, 'Zero Thought' policies. It's really just a complete joke. In college, I've heard professors say much worse than that to get their point across or express their opinion. Theresa is absolutely right. Sadly, many K-12 schools teach you little more than submission and the answers to government-issued standardized tests, the results of witch grade teacher performance, hence their motivation. Contact your principle or vice principle, take the issue to a PTA meeting or school board meeting. Always. Question. Authority. Their 'punishment' of in-school suspension accomplishes little more than putting you behind in the classes you're forced to miss, which is exactly the opposite of what they should be doing. Trust me, once you get out of high school and get into a decent college, you'll realize how trivial your 'education' before that point really was.

I questioned my dean before signing the paper. Then she threatened to not allow me to walk, which she noticed didnt really bother me. Then she threatened to have me suspended out of school. Which, now when you recieve OSS, you have to ait until they contact you and let you know if your able to return to the school or not. The only reason I stopped with the questioning is because OSS will destroy my future. And I wont allow that.

My school has a "go ask or talk to someone else" policy. Meaning, Ive tried talking to my principal before, and his answer was "Did you talk to your teacher?" no "Then I dont want to here what you have to say until you speak with her". Ive been given responses like that, numerous times. Ive tried talking with my assistant principal, she tells me to talk to my teacher. The problem is no one wants to hear the opinion of some 18 year old kid who doesnt know anything.

I will never forget what a teacher told me once after telling me to shut up...she said, "Voices are like rectums, everyone has one, But nobody wants to hear it"

It sounds like the administration in your school needs their teaching licenses revoked. Do anything you can to bring lite to the way they treat you. Contact your state school board, contact the local news channels, whatever. No instructor in any public school should treat a student with that kind of attitude.

Agreed. You just need to start talking to people about it. Everyone and anyone that will listen. If you have to, contact the school board, etc. above the school's level.

Or, just do nothing and let it go.

Up to you.

i feel your pain. i hated highschool me and my VP would almost get into fist fights before things got resolved. he tried to expell me because i decided to make a petition to allow ipod listening in highschool for study halls and lunch rooms. he was very pissed of and adament about the zero ipod policy. it would go back and fourth between me and him about the policies the schools administration had. i mean comon have you guys read the article about the webcam that was turned on in a kids room by the schools VP? then the VP suspending him because he was eating "something suspicious" when in fact it was mike and ikes lmao.

schools are bullshit and should be totally revamped from the ground up we learn how to be submissive rather than learn anything. we are being dulled down to mere cavemen again.
