Doward said:A) Not a good driver - a good driver drives as befits the circumstances at hand. This idiot did not do so.
B) Put him on an enclosed track, and he's still not a good driver. He panicked when he lost control in the first place, and did not have a good understanding of what was happening.
C) What this driver is, is LUCKY.
His face in the mirror proves all of this. A good driver isnt in sheer panic when something happens suddenly.
Many years ago in my riding class the instructors kept correcting people when they said 'panic' anything(panic stop, panic swerve, etc.). The instructors insisted if you panic at any time your not in control or handing the situation correctly.
It was a stupid mistake saved by luck alone, no question. Even if he was some amazing driver the second he crosses into on coming traffic its only luck that saves him. No amount of skill can control on coming traffic.
