Spent a couple of hours today wiring up the MAFT-Pro (thanks drjonez !!!) and it started on the first turn of the key and idles pretty well. I went through all the settings and found that some of them were already set according to the quick setup information but some were different. Anyway, the only thing I can see so far since I just started it and now I have to do some things (will play later) is that the initial jump from idle just about stalls the engine. If I ease the accelerator it will rev pretty smooth. Anyway that's it for now. I plan on asking a lot of question since a lot of the settings are foreign to me (I have trouble programming a VCR - :biglaugh: ). So all you boys running the 'pro, please bear with me and I thank everyone in advance for your help !!!!!!!!!!

Again, thanks drjonez and the boys at FT for developing such a cool system!

if i remember right, the update for the maftpro gets rid of that just-off-idle stumble.

Good deal on the Maft Pro. Are you runing speed/density? What are your mods? And like Shaeff said, I am running version 4.63 and it's pretty clean.

I am working through a little tweaking myself..

Are these updates for the TunerPro software or the firmware for the Translator itself????

My TunerPro version is 4.13 (but below that is says welcome to tunerpro version 4.14 (???) and when I did the "check for software updates" on the Help menu it said I had the latest version.

Oh and I also have codes 24 (air temp signal) and 52 (knock sensor). Has anything been done to clear up the code 24. I have read numerous posts about people having issues with that one.

Does anyone have a tried and true working *.bin file from their configuration that they can email to coboyoboy@hotmail.com for me to use. I set the basic stuff according to the documentation and re-read through 85+ pages of threads and still am not sure what a lot of the settings are for. My mods are pretty simple for now. No AFM at all, 3" turbo back exhaust with a high flow cat and flowmaster muffler, RC 550's, 60-1 upgraded CT-26, no ECU HAC mod (if that matters).

I have a thread going on the full throttle tech site in the maf pro discussions.

Bob has put alot of valuable information on what some of the new versions settings definitions are and what a starting point might be.

Well I found my knock sensor code issue and fixed that. While I was in diag mode, I was playing with the 'pro and noticed my TPS voltage was at 0.44 at rest and 3.66 at full accelerator pedal depression. At this time I noticed that my check engine light was throwing a code 51 (TPS/AC/ECU), but as soon as I released the pedal I only had the 24 again.

Pedal depressed = Code 24 AND 51
Pedal not depressed = Code 24 (Only)

Oh and btw, the engine was not running.

KS Code 52 is back...oh snap...

Cool, I found your thread. Are these the settings that you programmed into your unit or just your readings?

If you have te diagnostic jumper in between T1 and E1 or whatever they are, and you press the pedal, it will throw that code because you are not making the IDL connection. Once you release the pedal, the code goes away because the connection is being "made". If you adjusted it right of course!
