wont start, please help

First off, the engine "should" start with those numbers... but would run crappy. Before you pull the motor:

1.Check for proper valve adjustment. Perhaps the 4 are too tight!
2. Check to make sure the timing belt is not a tooth off. I'm assuming you do not have adjustable cam gears.
3. Like I said, it should at least start. Make sure you are not 180 out on the CPS.
4. If none of this works, then I would suspect the valve job was not done correctly and the valves are not seating. OR, the person that built the engine did not set the ring gaps in the proper position. Or both.....:3d_frown:

You should try to get it to start before you pull the motor back out. Like I said before, it's probably something simple that's being overlooked. If you've got spark, fuel, and air it should at least try to kick over. I'm still curious about the timing. Get it running and then if you still have low compression, fix it. Like Scot said, it should run with that compression.

Anyhow, hang in there and don't give up.
