gtsfirefighter;997297 said:Ugh! Your car is killing me. I can only imagine how you feel. I guess since I own part of your car it's having this affect on me.
kotu100;997373 said:ok so i MUST be killing you guys even more now....
code 41 went away, now throwing code 12. however its not cranking right now.... not sure if the batt just went dead or what.
kotu100;997497 said:on a side note, i just realized today that my EGR VSV doesnt constantly click anymore... i actually think it stopped when i swapped out the ECU.
kotu100;997497 said:i dont get why it wouldnt show the 12 before along w/ the 41, and it only showed up after it wouldnt crank anymore.

kotu100;998446 said:i just plugged it in. apparently early 89's could plug into the yellow plug ECU. now i dont even know if the engine is pre 89. the t-stat housing looks like its from an 89+.
theres a lot of things about this car thats aggrivating me (no ABS, cruise control, missing plugs, etc).
now i gotta take off the starter, and im about to say fuckit and sell this thing... im not gonna pull the engine halfway apart just to take off the starter.
the only way this things gonna get running is if somone else does it cuz apparently it wont start for me....
