Wire to nowhere..

I decided to re-wrap a section on my wiring harness that was all beat up and nasty looking. I stripped down the old wrap from where all the connectors hook on to the thermostat housing/MAF, back to where it comes out the front side of the intake manifold. In doing so, I found this yellow-black striped wire that was completely cut off and leading to nowhere.



I looked for a yellow-black striped wire in the toyota wiring diagrams but I don't think they exactly match up since I have an 86.5...

Would anyone be able to give me an idea of where this might go?

What do you mean? Like its literally just a wire coming out of the main wiring loom thats on the back of the firewall.

That should go to your oil pressure sensor, located behind the power steering pump.

I'm sorry, I thought you were saying that you followed a connector back towards the intake and came up to a dead end wire.
