Oh sure, NOW you tell me...rodel;1864624 said:At the least, you'll need wheels along the lines of 10" - 10.5" front and 11" to 11.5" rear, depending on the offsets. By no means are these wheels cheap.

To be honest... hadn't even gave it much thought (if any) until the widebody stuff was already on the way. Would be done already if not for buying a house a little over a year ago.rodel;1864827 said:LOL. Did you think you were going to be able to spend less than $3000?
Coilovers, best way to go if you can afford it. TH Motorsports is having a group buy on a nice set here:travweek;1864854 said:wat kind of drop do you guys have on your car i currently have d2 drop spring which are 2' in the front 1.6 in the rear
It is a weight thing for me. I'd like to keep my wheels under 20 lbs each...joel903;1864862 said:If you guys don't wanna spend $2500-$3000 on a set of 3pc Work or SSR wheels. These are the rims posted on this thread a few pages back. 18x12 +0 rims from Rota that wont break your bank that bad.
I've seen it riveted, as well as molded into the body. Depending on your rear ride height desired, you may need to cut the old fender to make room for the tire, but no big deal for a track car.scottryana;1871629 said:Thinking about buying a MKIII and turning it into a track car, but would need 295-315 tires for it's weight.
How do the rears attach? I saw that you had them riveted but that it wasn't suggested. Does the manufacturer just recommend using a product like a 3m seam sealer?
Thanks!
