Sam did you say something about having a broken AWD DSM? I would trade you everything I had for one... and if its nice I'll even throw money on top. I really want one :/.

I don't have one, I have a few hardcore DSM friends that could sorce one pretty quickly. LMK if you want me to try n find one and we can go from there.
What you looking for? 1G? eclipse laser or talon?

Alright, I'll let you know Matt

I picked up a new 7MGTE the other day, this ones getting rebuilt and my original motor..Im not sure, maybe put in a heavy duty plastic bag full of oil to wait for a rebuild someday..

The motor is the later generation 7M block, I've already started stripping it apart. Top end is off, next on the list is oil pan/internals and then its off to the machine shop! I already have pistons, still undecided on which rods to get.

My plan for the build is:
- Built motor
- Stock Head
- 272 Cams w/ springs and retainers
- PTE turbo on my T4 HKS mani
- New bearings throughout
- ARP everything
- New Toyota Oil pump
- All new gaskets and hoses

I don't know which EMS to get yet either. At the end of the day (sometime in the next year or two) I want the car to make 6XXrwhp on pump, and 7-800rwhp on race gas, shooting for 9s with the R154 at some point.

I lol'd while taking the head off, you know when your a supra owner when you can smell a bhg as you take the head bolts off:3d_frown:

Yep, I was driving the Danger Datsun Rally car and took the Supra out for a couple fun runs.

I thought that was you that thing is 99.9% SEX! except for the little spots of cancer on the rear wheel wells, other than that I love it. I was supposed to have mine out there but driftmotion kept fuckin up my shipping. I don't know if you saw me but I went and checked out your car at the end of the event I had a brown shirt on and a gray toyota hat on. but it was good to see another MK3 out there.

Thanks for the compliments. Yeah, it needs some loving in the wheel wells and really needs a repaint/dent repair to be perfect. That should be happening in the next few years, but first Im adding a MK4 to the garage. You will have to let me know when you are bringing your car out as I actually live in Little Chute and go to a lot of the FVSCC events.

so guys i got my supra up and running yesterday and today i gave my buddy a ride and all of a sudden my throttle foot felt like it got burnt and i looked down and i had coolant pour on it. So I opened hte hood and its definately coming from behind the head but i can't see back far enough to know where exactly it came from. I did swap out that metal coolant line with the banjo bolt for a better one. do you think the copper washer was bad and it started leaking out of there?

I don't think its from the 90 hose because that ones pretty visisble and it doesn't look like its that one. It looks like its coming from like dead center behind the head. The also thats about where the hole in the firewall is for the speedo cable is it not? And the grommet for that hole is missing so it probably squirted in that direction and through the hole. I'm just pissed that I have to potty train a 22 year old car from pissing on my foot. LOL

Which "metal coolant line" are you talking about?

Follow the water pipe that wraps around the block, just below/behind the intake mani, theres a coolant hose that runs into the firewall for heat supply or return. Thats my guess.

Mild update!

My block is tore apart and going to the machine shop this week. Will post pics up.
Still looking for rods though..
