Miss_Ali_J please god tell me your boyfriend is NOT Brandon Hentages? Also, if you KNOW Brandon Hentages he's ripped off so many people over the years....

I was looking at a some what recent thread on him and saw that he was perhaps posting under Specialty Auto Greenbay@gmail.com, when I googled it, and came to the site to see your and your boyfriends cars listed. I think a lot of people are looking for him for owed money or other things. Do you know if he works there?

First of all, does knowing him mean that I'm on the shit list? Because I swear to God, I have nothing to do with his past um, lifestyle. We met because we both happened to love Supras and we graduated together from the same high school. Yes, I know that he has a shady past, but since the birth of our son, he's trying REALLY hard to revamp his image, if you know what I mean. Please don't blacklist me because I know him, because trust me, I'm not up to anything but a love for Supras--as dumb as that sounds. PM me for more details--I'm not going to publicly oust him on this forum.

And DONT HATE ME, because just because I know him, doesn't mean I'm anything like him. People on other forums say some pretty shitty things about me too, but their issues with Brandon shouldn't be issues with me. Know what I mean?

Listen I have no problem with you what so ever. I always wait to judge people by their own actions. And on Brandon, I used to talk to him ALL the time in 2003-2004. We talked like every night. When I first knew him this was long before the whole crazy drama that came with him. I even did some business with him and had zero problems. However, I'm sure you understand since I've been in this community for a very long time I know that Brandon has wronged a bunch of people. There many threads about him, or have been on supraforums. I feel like this about Brandon : I don't think he is some POS who is going out of his way to screw everybody over, and rip people off. I feel like his problem is more of a mental thing, where he acts a certain way to show off or get attention? Like, my initial thoughts on him are he is a compulsive liar? I honestly dont hate him for it but for his sake I really hope you are right about him and he changes or gets some help with this because there are a lot of pissed off people who probably would love to run into him. You won't have any issues with me.

You know he is actually on my facebook? Or was anyway. Again I don't hate him but I do think he needs to change, or get some help to change. If you love Supra's and are cool you're ok in my book... but Brandon being around just worries me, because I don't know if he's changed personally and I'd hate to see anyone get ripped off.

Like, a prime example of typical Brandon is the thread you made introducing yourself. His post is exactly what I would have expected from him after seeing his facebook ( with you and him arguing all the time and him saying RIDICULOUS stuff about you ). He seems to post things that make you mad just for that public attention. I swear to god he needs some mental help at least thats how I see it.

Due to the trolling drama in her intro thread, they are both out of here.

Brandon would be banned based upon his reputation alone. After the drama starts, neither are welcome here.

Haha, at least you didn't find yourself in a sinkhole lol

The rain came fast and hard by me too. 4-5'' in 1 and a half hrs.
That shit was crazy, my dd had the wipers full on and couldn't even keep up. After the first wave of rain it was pretty much done..

How the 1JZ project goin?

and a +1 for making it miserably humid for work the next day! lol

So..

Whos doin what on their cars?

I've got a bunch of parts in and more coming.
I am just debating whether or not to go forged right away. I may be picking up some 0.40 Wiescos soon, and I'm thinking it would be best to just go for building it right away. You guys know of any reputible shops? I want to assemble it myself, but if the price is right I may just let someone else do it.
I mostly need machine work for the block and rotating assembly.

I have a HKS Cast T4 mani, I'm not gonna go T4 yet this year though. Im gonna go with a rebuilt CT for the time being.

and I would like to get wheels/tires/suspension in this year too.
Whats up with you guys?

My 87 is torn down for paint atm. I have an 89 bumper and wing installed. I guess i have to buy some new moldings cause the door ones get messed up when you take them off >.<

The fun part of my build is the sun roof. I had an after market one that was crappy, didnt look sweet, and didnt work well. So, I bought a stock sunroof of a 91 supra and i am in the process of fitting that up.

Figi blue here i come!

Sam, I just did Megan coil overs and full poly urethane bushings a couple months back. If you need any help or tips let me know.

Sure, I always like meeting new Supra enthusiasts as well!
We need to get some meets going on, or at least a swap-meet/hangout kinda thing.

Haha all running supras would be a bonus,
I think somewhere in between where everyone lives would be a good spot to meet.
Parking lot of some sort.

Anyhow, off topic..

A japanese friend of mine went back to visit his family, I told him how much i LOVE MKIIIs, he brought back a 1/43 scale TTR model!
I was pumped to get it, and it looks awesome! It is VERY detailed.

If you want to go MHG, there is a huge process you have to go through. new rings, new bearings, hone possibly bore, balancing, decking, etc.. Best option IMO is OEM with ARPs and do it right, as long as your not shooting for 500rwhp.

C & S in butler is a pretty good shop. They decked my cyl head and have done work for friends and family in the past.

Where do you people get this nonsense from? usdm, the preceeding quote is wrong.

For a MHG you need a well surfaced head and block deck. Period. If you use stock hardware, be sure to torque the headbolts to the new spec and not the overly low one in the TSRM. I'd suggest ARP head bolts or studs torqued to the spec provided in the box with the hardware, they don't cost much more than stock and are superior in every way.

All of the other things mentioned are steps in building and/or rebuilding an engine, they have nothing to do with installing a metal head gasket.

I didn't say that they HAD to do with doing a MHG, I just wanted to bring to his attention some things he may have overlooked.
So your saying you can just install a MHG on a stock block with just a milled surface? you can't or shouldn't re-install everything with the stock components (ie Rings, bearings, etc) Because our 20+ year old motors could use some freshining up, Which isn't that big of a deal, just wanted to throw a few ideas out there.

When i left wisconsin a few years ago, to move to Sacramento for school. i knew nothing about cars and little about supras. Now i have finished WyoTech and spent a couple years in the field, and on my way back.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Here is a little pic, we stopped in Reno for the night. After packing all day then driving 2 hrs through the mountains, fully loaded in an underpowered u-haul, i am pooped.
