Hondafest...? high 11 second civics are still pretty cool, and a buddy of mine from chicago is bringing his 94 BPU supra. There is alot more than just hondas, Im not saying I like hondas alot or anything but dragracing is fun and watching people break stuff is fun!
Hey i'll be there too, I'll be driving a Green 5 Speed SC300 wit huge freaking tires on the back, I have 275/50/17 on the back of my SC300 & A nice Greedy Exhaust that has been discontinue long ago.... Supra of doom Hope to meet you there & alot of members...
I know it was discussed a while ago, but I've heard that WI is 86'ing the OBD I and older emissions in July. Lets all keep out fingers crossed. Which makes me wonder why I have to get my car tested now.
I ended up just getting collector plates. The guy at the dmv said I would have to send in my title and get a whole new one and that it took a little bit longer. He said unless it looks completely different or has a compltely custom body kit I dont really need hobbyist plates. I could do any custom work under the hood or interior wise and it didnt matter. Its a good thing I just got the collector plates cuz they took more than a month to get the darn things. I was really getting an itching to get her out but knew I shouldnt because last fall I got a letter in the mail september 10th that my plates were expired and I would be fined each day until it was renewed. The cops must not have anything better to do around this town cuz they expired august 31st and it had been sitting in my driveway for about 2 weeks so they must have been keeping an eye on it and sent the damn letter like the day after it expired. I tore up the damn letter and put her in the garage. Why would I pay to renew plates for a couple months that I prolly wont drive it much anyways when I can get collector plates in January like I just did. just thought I'd post an update. It sure was nice to drive a 5spd again.... especially my supra. I put on about 100 miles today just bumming around town and the country. here is a pic of my new plates. too bad they dont offer custom collector plates. oh well.

I was There! good fun! it is $18 admission, I was planning on racing but I didnt realize it was an extra almost 60 buck!:3d_frown: My buddy with the mkiv busted the driveshaft:nono: that suck'd... I saw a few lexus sc's probably jostar's. It was a great turnout this year, and there is plenty more for this season. Hope to see you guys next time:naughty:

p.s. I got a ffteen day for runing open downpipe in Mequon... Hahahahaha the cop was like, "it sounds like part of your exhaust isnt there" i was like "Oh really:sarcasm:?!?!?!" :biglaugh:good times...
