I actually got super lucky when I bought my 89+ tails. This dude who owned a shop had a IMMACULATE mk3 that someone hit and he parted it out. I got his tails and I'm telling you they looked perfect:

Well when I asked Curt at Elmhurst about it he said they were discontinued from Toyota. If you say they are still available then maybe I missed something or he mis-understood me, but Im not sure how that would happen.

did you check with Champion? I asked Curt about the two part numbers listed in the online TSRM for the crankshafts, one 6M, the other 7M, he said he wasn't able to check the number for the 6M. I say bull, but whatever.

I then asked the folks at Champion, and they were able to give me a clarified answer, being the 6M crank is discontinued lol.

They seem to be able to check Japan stock as well as US stock. Unless it's just my imagination telling me that haha

it could be that the part is discontinued maybe my dealership can just get parts from whoever has them in stock. i got the front turn signal/running lights no problem so i couldnt see how tails would be a problem but that doesnt mean they'd be cheap. i asked about fog lights once and they were almost $200 each my cost!

I'll see what time I can get off of work that night. If it's not too late, and the weather is clear, I'll shoot up there, albeit a 1.5 hour drive from where I work lol

Hey guys my name is Mike I live in Menasha which is about 40 minutes south of Green Bay. If any of you are interested in autocrossing I'm part of the Fox Valley Sports Car Club and we're having a lapping day on April 11th in Shawano at US Air. Its like a mini Road America road course, very fun though. If anyone would be interested let me know I can get you more details.

This would be the most money sucking Supra known to man.
General maintenance on turbo rotaries seems to be a rebuild every several years, or at random intervals for that matter.

A mini Road America?? come on :) I would say it is like a mini Tsukuba or another tight technical course, although the elevation change is fun. I had my Supra out there this last fall with FVSCC and the track definitely is fun. I would say max speed of about 70 miles an hour tops in one section of track, but mostly it is a very low speed, tight course that is pretty tough on the brakes and car if really driving hard (constant WOT at low speed to hard brakes wash rinse repeat). I thought it was fun but there are some corners that require quite a lot of steering input in a street car. I probably will not attend the April event but will be at other ones at a later date.

I also am taking my car on the actual road America and I am extremely excited for that. That is the weekend of the 17/18, I am running on the 18th.

well i would sure like to see some more mk3s out at the track. the last event i was at with my 91 supra n/a 5 speed i took 7th overall out of about 60 cars and took first in class. seems like i'm the only one out there with a mk3 theres hardly any supra owners around here let alone ones into road racing.

yes but it would be sickkkkk to hear a Supra revving over 12K RPMS!

And I never said it HAD to be turbo lol. I'd probably just build a N/A screamer
