I have just completed going through 128 pages of the members list looking for local members. Maybe a little over half of the people have listed any location. Some of those locations are very entertaining and "cute", but give no idea where somebody is. Here's one........"Hell, and it's kinda warm" .

I know, the internet is a dangerous place, but I gauranty I can't find your house if you just put California (if you actually live in California). Damn, a state name is pretty vague. It would be difficult enough if you put a city name. Hell, Mobile, Al is under 300,000 people, and I can't find a particular car in it. Insure your car, and quit being so damn paranoid. If your car gets stolen, its cause somebody saw it, and thought it would be an easy mark. Take steps to make it difficult, and have insurance for the stubborn theif. If he wants your car bad enough he'll get it sooner or later. But deterents make most criminals find an easier target.

What's the point? It's just a car. Maybe we should whisper "The red fish sails at midnight" when we meet? Hows about a secret handshake too? Besides, I'm wanted in 11 states

The point is, I'm trying to put together a local group. I think it's awesome that Supramania would allow you to see a location, like other sites won't do. I've PM'd several people from Alabama off the list, but I'm sure I probably missed at least 1 due to no location listed. These people could meet up with us at some predetermined location, I don't care which house they live in. No, I'm not a cop or a theif. I'd like to think of the people here as a community, but I guess there are always a few freaks (not pointing fingers at anyone in particular)whereever you go. I just don't think listing at least a state is putting you in harms way. Maybe I'm naive.

BTW Jetjock........Your opinions are highly respected as far as i'm concerned, and I love a Ford Galaxy

BHG, that sucks buddy. I live in Kelowna as well. Trying to get these cock-biters of mechanics to put my car on the road. Everytime it goes in (Out-of-Province) they come up with something new.

Know any crooked mechanics?
:naughty:

Redacted per Title 18 USC Section 798
FT, I think it's what was mentioned: some folks just tend to be more private than others. I'm one of them because I know how weird people (and the internet) can be. I've also seen the results of identity theft and it's not pretty. If it matters I live in California most of year and in Ukraine during the summer.

Freaks? In the Supra community? No! ;)
