And this is why I ALWAYS put my Supra in the garage behind my house, even if I’m only going to be home for a few minutes. The red metallic Stratus in the pic was a stolen car (the second stolen car to hit my property since May of this year), and it drove right up my lawn and into my porch. At least they managed to apprehend one of the three people in the stolen car…

Jesus might want to invest in some big boulders in your front yard to deflect some of those cars haha. At least it didnt land in your house!

If I were to put a few large boulders in my front yard, I think I'd be too tempted to put an artificial tail made of "craft fur" or something under one side of the boulder, and part of a dog leash under the other side of the boulder...just to freak people out and make them ask questions...:)

Can you stamp the boulder with A.C.M.E. on it?

Reminds me of a local property that is on a sharp corner... their fence is ALWAYS busted because people keep driving through it.

Step 1: Install Bollards
Step 2: Plant nice shrubs and landscaping to hide Bollards
Step 3: Laugh at ensuing cars that get totalled on your new bollards.

wow.

In my highschool drivers ed class, the teacher showed us a video. It was a scene of a small office with everybody doing paperwork or whatever, then all of a sudden a car came smashing through the place. I yelled "holy shit!" pretty loud in the middle of class. The teacher actually thought it was kinda funny.

There was a guy up here who had a similar problem - the city built a road next to his property that turned just before his house. If you missed the turn and went straight, you'd end up in his living room. Worse, the road was higher than the house, so you'd land on TOP of anyone in the living room.

He complained to the city about it constantly, especially after the first guy drove into his living room. He complained more after the second guy drove in. After the third guy drove in, he was really bitter - how many times can you get lucky and have nobody in the room when a car lands in it? So, he built a wall in front of his living room. Twenty feet wide, twelve feet high, and TWELVE FEET thick, not to mention steel reinforced rebar.

The next guy to miss the corner died on the spot. Damage to his property? Basically nothing... he had to wash off the blood, then repaint his wall, and spilled fuel killed a small section of lawn.

The city fixed the road after that.
