Wow, a little full of themselves aren't they? :) Especially pujolsfan - king dickhead. He's obviously pumped up on internet courage and not much you can do about it, except throw a few well thought out words back pointing out what a prick he is... if it's even worth the bother.

Don't worry Dunkel, you too will eventually become a smartass like them two. It won't happen right away so don't get discouraged. It takes a while to really know how great you are and how important you are. Once you receive your badge, it all becomes much clearer to you, and you realise that you are smarter than everyone else...............:sarcasm:

Just kidding with you dude, but arrogance does come with the badge most of the time.

Because many people get into law enforcement because they think it automatically makes them important.

I have met great police officers as well - they typically went into the job with a sense of public service, wanting to protect law-abiding citizens.

One of my best friends is a sheriffs deputy and I work with a bunch of cops. You don't know how true that statement is. It's pretty much the same with all of us in public safety. It's a type A personality thing. I'm much more easy going than the rest though because I have many personality types.:)

I am waiting to see if anyone actually helps me out over there. If not, I am thinking of posting something that will probably get me banned, and gets my point across.

What does the 'A' stand for? :sarcasm:

Oh well. I can assure you guys that I am going into law enforcement for the sole purpose of giving back to the community, and to help people. And to prove a point that not all cops need to be assholes. Not for the badge, gun, or power.

Stay strong Dunkel. I'm sure alot of these so called assholes started out fighting the good fight, and then found out from other cops that you're suppose to belittle people and look down upon them as if they were mere peasants put here to fear and worship them.

I've met some really cool cops, but I've met three or four dickheads for everyone of them.

To much power is corrupting, that and has anyone watched cops, most of those people they show a grade A idiots, get exposed to enough of them and who wouldn't be affected. That said, in my experience with most cops their attitude is just a reflection of yours.

Depends on what channel their radio is turned to.:biglaugh:. I just wrote about me being written up for speeding and how the cop LITERALLY said it was his ability to drive that made me slow down. What I should have said was "no, I slowed down so you'd feel better about touching yourself at night. I wanted to run, but I didn't want to make you feel bad about not being able to catch a Neon." Just to be a bigger dickhead:

Getting back on topic, I think you're right Dunckel, you need a warrant to arrest the guy at someone else's house. Sometimes I wish we had a civilian enforcement group. Normally dressed civilians who sole purpose is to test and monitor police officer actions in public. But if we did, then we'd have to admit that there is a problem in law enforcement. And Law enforcement doesn't want to admit that.
