Who has the fastest Auto Tranny MK3 Supra?

I'm wondering because I'm installing my MAFTPRO now, got the 550's, bigger turbo, bigger IC, etc... and I intend to stay Auto and get a built unit later on with the suprastick (to control shift points not so much to have paddles)... and want to know who I have to beat to take the title

hey toyman, 11.81s is awesome... i'd be very happy with that to say the least....

my immediate goals are to run good enough for 1/4mi in 12.5s with my stock A340E, and building it up later on.

The shop doing the work on my car has basically talked me out of going with a TH400 because to get that running with the overdrive would be crazy expensive plus complicated to install, etc.... and I don't want one without OD because buzzing at 4000+rpm at 80mph on the highway does not appeal to me.

What did you do to your tranny besides getting the 3200 stall? Is it freshly rebuilt to stock specs? Did it slip when you dyno'd at 433rwhp? how much rwtq did you dyno in that run?

Its way off but theres a guy here locally named Tyler. Hes got a GT40 running 13lbs untuned w/ full supra weight running 12.5 w/ like a 1.6 sixty foot fully tuned and a little less weigth and he will be flying.

550s got me into the 10s

As far as the quickest Toyota auto, its probably in the low 11s high 10s somwhere (couldnt tell ya who but i know its been done), and Shawn (besttrans on here) has gone in the 10.20s on his th350.

not sure if it means anything but stock theoretical top speed of an A340E w/ 3.73 diff and stock factory size tires/wheels is 183mph how fast you get to that speed is another story.

Performance Rebuild, Raysbestos Blue Plate Clutches, Kolene Steels, new Sprags,Washers and Thrust Bearings, Feed holes drilled, shimmed accumulaters.
you can get a a340 HP kit from Transtar which comes with the blue clucthes, kolenes, kevlar band.
be sure to get new sprags also.
Trans has not slipped yet, but the car's getting close now after the AEM install and will be over 500rwhp, hoping for about 525 or so. will see what happens then, lol

Torque was 379ft/lbs @5700RPMs

Very similar to Toyman here..if fact, almost identical except for a 3000 rpm stall converter (built by IPT). Haven't had a manual transmission equipped car beat me yet...ran an 11.85 in the 1/4. We'll see what the AEM box will do here in a few weeks

Stock auto tranny, upgraded ct-26 with a external wastegate.

Heck, he is still on stock 440's from what i remember
