Whatever you do, when you buy the wires and get new plugs, don't use Autolite 3923's. Everyone has said that they're good, but I can tell the difference between the 3923's and the NGK 6097's I had before. Stick with NGK, there's a big difference.

i got some accel universal wires they are LONG and for a V8 but you can do 2 MK3 for the price of one so if you have someone a friend who would go 1/2 on them with you you can get both cars done they work AWSOME.... i did on mine and they work good

I'm how you can do two supra's with one V8 set?
I'm missing the math here... lol

I had moroso wires, and they were great. Still are great, actually, they're just not being used anymore.

NO YOU DUMB ASSES.... i said the wires are so long you can cut them and make them fit remember the universal wires you have to cut them and make them your self to fit. remember the V8 are LONG and the supra are NOT........here is your change back for your 2 cents

one...i'm not a dumb ass. if anything YOUR post was unclear because more than one person didnt understand it. so dont call us that.

two...i've never heard of wires you CUT to make fit. i'm sure they exist; but right now the idea sounds like a pain, as well as being a downfall. In my mind, cables made at the factory will have better connections than ones you cut and make yourself, and they are probably assembled using more trustworthy techniques. at the least i'd be more confortable in using wires made by soneone who makes hundreds in a day than me, someone who just learned of the concept. I looked up MSD's wires, they look good...but there is still a problem with what you said:

three...i still dont see how you're going to do two supras with one v8 set, at least not how i imagine these wire sets. if you cut 8 wires to fit, you're still going to have 8 wires, plus some scrap that you cut. now why would the company include extra tips beyond what you need for the 8 wires...that might even loose profit because of people like you making more sets out of one. that is, if the prices of a v8 and two v6 sets are much different. MSD's set has NO extra tips, and i'm not going to use sparkplug wires without tips. i cant get my fingers down around the sparkplug to tie it on anyway! lol... i found one set with extra dizzy cap tips but you still only have 8 plug connectors....

enlighten me...........

They DO have universal wiring sets, have a couple dozen feet worth of wire, and you can cut them to your desired length, but he said V8 set, so I'm still confused as well.

yeah i dunno if you read my third point or not, but i saw a set...

but yeah...we still stand confused. they give you extra tips in this set but that's because you'll probably mess up the first 8...lol. and it STILL cant make more than 8...lol. oh boy

1st im sorry for the comment but some people made it sound like i was the dumb ass but is all good i understand where you are comming from we used the OEM tips for one set and the Accel for the other i guess you can say we used the ACCEL wires to make 2 sets......in all the MSD wires are too much $ and i dont think they make universal kit for just wires is too much the MSD and ACCEL wires are the same 8.8mm they use the same core and insulation just a name and a diffrent color .... im confident enough that my wires were done correctly ive been doing this for a while now they are working good , as you all know all Supras are a money pit so until i can afford all the top things for it i will try to save as much $ as i can. again im sorry for the comment i should have been more detailed in my post.

Would the NGK's and Denso's be considered an upgrade or just stock replacement? I like either but would prefer black wires. Any one have pics of the NGK's on their car?
