If you do rebuild- replace all of the rubber coolant lines on the car- do not re-use a single one if the coolant had oil in it. That's just begging for a blowout, and Sean (funky_monkey58) will tell you how engines act without coolant...
I may have it rebuilt that would actually cost me less but i know its beat up bad i was getting oil and coolant in my intake hoses and through my brand new turbo! im not exactly 100% on what alls wrong with it.
so far im going to get a new radiator, i already have new gates radiator hoses, every coolant hard line or hose is going to be replaced if it hasnt already been by me, new coolant rez and sensor, new thermostat / temp sensor, cam gears belt and tensioner, either going to buy a new OEM oil pump and shim it and port it or throw in a mk4 oil pump, im considering a bigger oil pan from driftmotion ( i have done buisness with them a few times a verry good company by the way), fan clutch and shrouds will be replaced, new PS pump and maybe lines, rack and pinion will also most likely be replaced for other reasons... im sure theres more i just cant think of it off the top of my head. point is im going to do this one time and do it right the first time so i wont have any rreliability issues
Edit: also all the intake and most ventilation hoses have already been replaced weeks before it decided to turn into chubacca from starwars... sad to say but my supras nick name is now chewy hahaha
