lol it looks like they based it on the mkiv to me. Seems more similar to the Ab-flug supra.

The front end and the tail lights are the closest resembelance

All people who start threads with "MKV" or "MK5" in the titles should be perma banned and then kicked in the face.

Kthx.

Well right. In a modern car lineup. Were talking about a car that resembles a car that was discontinued 10 years ago. I would more expect it to resemble the current toyota/lexus look.

Why is it every time I say I have a supra some one always brings up there will be a new one in 2008? Kinda getting tired of that comment...

The Supra was Toyota's flagship model, it demonstrated the best in Toyota tech. This car carries that same spirit. Supra means to surpass, in that right this new car carries all the ideals that went into the MKII, MKIII, MKIV. It is the best Toyota had to offer. If Toyota would have had the means back when they designed the MKIV to create a supercar, I'm sure the MKIV would have been a supercar. By all rights this this is the closest were are going to get to a "successor" in terms of the idea behind it. In terms of car and chassis outside of both being a "car" they are two totally different beasts.

Supra + Aston Martin = visual orgasm.

That thing looks beautiful. I never realized it until that video. Thanks mkiiinoob.

If that popped up while watching porn, I think I'd just keep watching it and finish off... :D

dubya tee eff??

anyway, the MKIV was a supercar in performance in some areas... It have the ability to out brake all the supercars of it's time.

Body lines are VERY MKIV though, if I could find some damn dimensions on it I could cross referance it with the MKIV and overlay a couple images to show what I mean...

In fact, the resemblance is more along the lines of the OLD mustangs with the new body style that's based on it. It's obvious they looked back on the MKIV for this car.

Will it be called a Supra? More than likely not as it doesn't fit with Lexus' naming scheme. That hybrid POS is not a supra in any way shape or form, doesn't look ANYTHING like a Supra, and hybrids can burn in hell for the lies of saving the world...
