Where does this connector go?

I've looked up and down, side to side around the area and I cannot find where it goes. It branches off the Oil pressure sender connector and the AFM connector, before they all join at the wire harness. It has two wires, solid yellow and white with a black stripe.

It doesn't go to TEMS, TEMS isn't part of the engine wiring harness. And TEMS is already connected, haha.

I'm not sure either. I've looked at this over and over and can't seem to find it. Maybe if I drink an energy drink... haha.

Are both your connectors on the thermostat tree hooked up? There are 2 there that should be 2 wires, the Cold Start Injector time switch and the ECU temp sensor.

Yes, all of the thermostat housing wires and connectors are plugged up. It's not the CPS connector, as that's hooked up as well.

If one of the wires is green and white , the other red/black ( I think ) , it is your PPS wire.

From where it is in the engine bay, it looks like it goes to a connector that runs under the A/C line that's along the strut tower.

The wire colors are yellow and white/black. All of the connectors along the strut tower are connected. It looks like it goes to the oxygen sensor as it's long enough to reach it but it's already hooked up. Like i said, it branches off the oil pressure sender connector.

Okay ..the O2 sensor will have three wires and its not that. If it is branching off the Oil pressure, then it must be part of the OIL light sensor located on the OIL pan . Look near the dipstick. If it is, then it is not needed as 7ms don't use that light.

I have that same connector in my 92, nothing to connect to.. only think I can think of is for an cat temp sensor, but isn't there. My car is bone stock too

It's definitely not for the oil light. I'm pretty sure this went somewhere as it was connected before my engine swap. My car is a 91. If it doesn't go to anything (strange) then I'll just disregard it and ziptie it safely.

My power steering is a bit shoddy but that may be because I have to bleed the system still. Otherwise, it may just be the PPS connector, but still, I've looked up and down and I cannot find where it goes.

At this point, "if its not broken don't mess with it comes to mind" I mean you have looked up and down. Its working, so I probably do what you said, just zip tie it.

Below exhaust manifold, there should be a black sensor there. Check it out.

HOLY XTRA WIRES BATMAN, IVE GOT THAT TO!!

91 daily driver, stock, running good. mine is full of gunk so i know it has been off for a while. if it was plugged in somewhere the previous owner might have done something. i looked around there and cant find anything that it goes to.

a lot of you young bucks have no clue about that at the top

It is quite odd. I swapped in a different engine, but this harness is from the same car. I looked on the old engine and I can't seem to find any sort of connector for it either. There's no way to track this wire down in the TSRM? I've looked at the TEWD and can't find yellow and white/black.

It's not for the power steering, that's on the other side of the engine.

I'm thinking it must be something added in later years, because I'm reasonably certain that the only multi-wire plugs on the exhaust side of the engine harness in my '89 are:
- O2 sensor
- AFM sensor
- ECU temp sensor
- Cold start injector time switch

And it can't be the first two, they aren't two wire plugs. The only thing I can think of that was added later to the Supra was an airbag, and I can't imagine that being in the engine harness.
