As I mentioned previously, most of the questions asked in this thread have already been answered. If anyone has questions, may I suggest searching the thread before posting the question and using the tools provided?

the thread above is not about "what do I need to do to make these wheels fit", "will these wheels fit", "what tires will fit",etc..The thread is for pics that best showoff aftermarket wheels on your MKIII. Please share info about:


Wheel Manufacturer and Model
Diameter, Width, offset
Tire Sizes
Suspension setup
Misc: like spacers, fender rolling, fender flaring, etc..

well, you can always make things fit for the most part.. but I don't consider the work needed to fit those sizes to be in the realm of stock, though maybe others do.

with 18x8.5+15F/ 18x9.5+18R and proper tires (245/275), the fronts and rears have to be rolled completely flat. The sizes you proposed are quite a bit beyond that, so I'd say pulled fenders or flares would be needed.

Rodel is better with this stuff, and he actually posted a link above that details some of his wheel/tire combinations. Many of them are actually right around the sizes you were asking about..

That's doable with just a roll. Depending on tire size obviously. If you want a large tire then a pull is needed.

I still think a pull would be needed.. that would be sitting a full inch outside the fender on my car, and it's dropped decently.

10.5+20 will need a very good roll.

If you have a +40mm offset and add 25mm spacers. what does that put your offset at.
I have 18x9.5's with a +40mm offset. Sunk in like a tweens chest. I got 25mm spacers from H&R
fronts are 245/45/18 rears are 275/35/18 i am going to get new rears. I was thinking 255/45/18 <---bad Idea?? maybe 245 ?

You'll be needing a 1" front spacer and 2" rear spacer ...and that's still not "flush"

these are starion fronts im talking about here.(just for reference)
so would that put me back at stock fitment?

How would 18x9.5 +22 front and 18X10 +20 rear fit?
Still have stock suspension

Other available offsets are:
18x9.5 22/35/40
18x10.5 15/22

Super Lap look amazing, but don't even think of buying them until you do suspension first.

will be done with engine and tuning soon, will be 400ish to the wheels.

With that figure the stock brakes make me feel uncomfterble heh, probable rightfully so. Was going to upgrade to the AZP Wilawoods but ofc they do not clear stock rims. I would hate to have to put up all the money for rims/brakes/tires/suspension all in one big chunk. And buying a cheap set of rims in meantime seems wasteful.

Even if the car had 100hp, I'd still feel uncomfortable with the stock brakes.

ok maybe im not understanding here,
how are they too narrow if they are the same width as the stock ones?
please bear with me im still learning
i thought the offset was what mattered not the width of the tire, im trying to use my stock tire setup
thats why i thought it might be good to run a 16x7 wheel
