18x9+35 aren't custom.. 18x10+30 likely are (due to +30 instead of the normal +24) but IMO no point in getting them made in that size. that's probably why she had them listed for less, though she still had to pay decent money for them if bought new..

standards are around 3k new and customs are around 4-5k new IIRC.

Will a set of work equip in this size fit? car is on Tein Hr and i have a 330mm 6-pot BBK.
18 x 8J offset +5mm

OK maybe someone can help me out on this. I just got some adr-7 17x7 wheels, the tires on them are shit and way small (205/40) mounted one to see how the rims look, and it looks like they are tucked into the wheel well like an inch or more? Is that just how it looks with the small tire? I found some 245/55/17 which i just found out came off a truck. what would be a good size to install on these front and rear? I do not know the backspacing but tried measuring from hub to lip and think it was 5.5 inch, the 16s i took off are like 7 inch? Should i get some wheel spacers or what?

Also found a set of 235/50/17 any ideas

Hey guys,

Im looking into some wheels, MB Weapons.

17 X 8 Fronts
17 X 9 Rears

They have a few offsets to choose from,
For the fronts there is the option of +42 or +28mm
And for the Rears +27 or +17mm

As of now the suspension is stock, I am Planning on picking up some tokico illumina 2s (tems compatable) and h&r springs.

Sell them and buy proper wheels, if you only want 7" you're better off keeping sawblades and putting the money into better tires.

As for the MB Weapons, 8" +28mm and 9" +17mm of coarse. It's going to look terrible until you lower it though.

Hi guys... Got these new rims and tires 10 months ago and wanted to share with you some tips and infos!
Rims are Azev type A (from Germany) monoblock made from realy strong alloy material. Always loved the
Work Equips and since they don't make them anymore went with these A type Azev wheels that have a
kind of a similar design.My car is on Tokico (TEMS) shocks and Eibach springs. Anyway here they are :

Front are 8.5' x 18' (+25 offset) with 235-40/18' Dunlop SP9000 asimetric tire. (0 camber)

The offset choise on the fronts is between +18 to +35 given from 'Azev'.
They fit very well.They also clear my BBK (14" / 6 pot) very well ! They don't rub at all. I think I could fit a bigger tire like 245-40/18' without any issues.

When I first drove with the new 18's wheels/tire combo I had a rubbing issue. And a very bad issue if I had 1-2 person in the car.
I rolled the rear fenders and did a very slight pull. Now is much better and almost OK!

Like I said,now is much better but I still rub sometimes when I get into a bumpy road or turn on a big curvy road with bad asphalt and have more than a passanger.
Future plan after summer is to machine the offset to +24 (from +20),wish I could take it more,like to +30 and solve the problem 100%.
I will also get some swaybars to help the stability of the car. Then I think I will have no more rubbing issues... Last choise will be a 265-40/18' rear tire.
I want to have zero rubbing issues even with +3 passengers and a full gas tank cruising on every kind of roads or highways!

I am trying to get rid of the rims for some 17x8. The backspacing is like an inch smaller than the 16s i have on there right now. They are 16x7.5 with 215/50 and 225/50 still a little small but they work for now.

I just joined supramania... I normally post on supraforums under XTC Dynamic Supra. I saw this thread so I'm just copying over what i wrote for my car under a similar thread.

Wheel Brand and Model: Rota P45r yeah yeah i don't care
Size/Offset Front (including spacers if used): 18x9.5 +12
Size/Offset Rear (including spacers if used): 18x9.5 +6 (+12 w/ 6mm spacer)
Tire Size Front: 225/40/18
Tire Size Rear: 225/40/18
Fender mods: Rolled front and rear fenders flat
Suspension: Tein Super Streets all the way down
Rubbing Yes/No: Rubs a little in the front on full turn.
Crazy negative camber yes/no: 2.4 degrees in the rear.

Front: 19×9.5 +22 Rear: 19×10.5 +22 or in 18's with the same width and offset
Willing to do a little work/rolling to fit them just dont want to get into custom body work, I also will be running coilovers.

the fronts are fine. You might have to roll your fenders and run a stretch tire out back...that all depends how low you go

exactly what he said ^^^^ but if and when you decide to lower the car, you will need to modify the rear fenders....
