Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

Those are probably either Weds Sa-70's, or MB "Weapon's". Depending on tire size, flush fitment for those sizes would be 5-15mm offset for the 8's, and about, 15 or 20mm for the 9's. I would highly recommend rolled fenders, before any attempt at that aggressive of fitment.

So are they decent wheels then? Now I gotta figure out if they fit >< He emailed me back and said he couldn't find anything marking wise on offset info.

What would be the ideal offset for 17x9 rims? Im looking at getting Enkei RPF1's or MB Competition's in 17x9 all around, but I am unsure what offset to get. Would a +27 offset work? I want something pretty flush with the fender, without requiring rolling or modification. My suspension setup is Eibach springs on KYB GR2s in the front and Monroe Sensatracs on the rear. Also planning on running 225/45/17 tires since i have a set already. Thanks

There is no such thing as being flush with the fender with out modding them. I do not know why people keep asking for that. If you don't want to mod the fenders just ask for fitment to clear stock body.

Hey guys, quick fitment question.

I have an option of purchasing a set of SSR SP1 Professors sized 19x8.5 +43, 19x9.5 +43. I am assuming these will fit without much drama.

My setup for next year, when the wheels go on, would be lowered on H&R Springs with Tokico Illumina's.

My question is, what size tire would you recommend for this setup? I was thinking 245/35R19 275/35R19?

You will have to roll the fenders.

Some feedback on my wheels I bought....

These are fr500 mustang wheels basically.. 17x9 all around both +24 offset. I went with 245/40s up front with 255/40's in back. I feel I could get away with a little more in the back. I havnt rubbed yet, and have not rolled fenders. It might rub If I hit something hard at higher speeds. I love the look though thanks to the advice in this thread.

Wheels are not too bad but not something I would run but that doesn't matter. I like the over all stance for the height you are at.

I got a new set of Work VS-SS wheels 17x7.5 +41 front and 17x8.5 +41 back sitting around and wanted to know what size tires u recommend. I know they're not the ideal setup for the Supra but I guess better than stock.

I wouldn't run those size/offset rims w/o a 10-15mm spacer, or else it will look rediculous! As for tire sizes, go with 235/40's up front, and a 245/40 on the rears. But, please use spacers!:x: Recommend H&R's, very important to keep the hub-centricity!!! (Is that a word?!):biglaugh:

I got a killer deal on a 18x8.5 20 and 18x9.5 25 so what kind of mods do i need to do to get them fitted on my 88 7m with H&R+tokico HP blue shocks ??
Or should i start searching for wheel flares that i don't really love ?
