You talking about how they feel in the normal road ruts?

225's felt like regular wheels, wider and sometimes it feels like I'm riding on the crest of a hill. Because the sidewalls are so inflexible, it's the one thing I dislike. I kinda let the car tell me where to be on the roadway for the most part. Another reason why I think 255 is too meaty for the front.

Maybe I'll start off with some 245s out front. I don't really have a need for all that meat..

I would run 225's if you can (not stretched), it's still 9"

Cheaper and better road feel if your just doing summer roadways

Supra/AutoX/competitive doesn't really mix, unless locally not many in your class. I believe I sit in ESP and no way I can compete with some of the cars in that class.

Mk3 Supra is 5x114.3 (or should be) with that offset you could probably run an adapter plate/spacer if you really wanted to but not sure on that.

I have a spacer/adapter for 5x100 to fit on a 5x114.3 (Supra) hub. They aren't cheap though. I believe the 5x100 wheels with rubber and the adapter was 2400.00. Think the adapters were like 75.00 a pop.. (300 for a set of 4)

Okie dokie.. question (was gonna add photos, but the iphone shots are crap and I cant get my computer to read the wife's camera's SSD card yet.. lol).

I have a set of 4 XXR 521 - 18" x 10" gunmetal with +25 Offset.

The rubber is 245/45R18 on all 4 wheels.

Just looking at the specs (car isn't home yet), these wheels are going to stick out a bit in the rear I think at that offset and wont work very well on the front?

Thinking of doing these on my car if they will fit properly, just trying to see if anyone thinks I will have an issue with 245's up front with that offset before I actually go to the shop and swap them.

The tires are already on the rims and aren't really stretched. They don't stick out quite as well as my 255's on my Work Wheels. Have to decide if I'm going to sell these wheels or keep them.. Not a huge fan of the 245's up front... but without actually driving it with them on, that's just going by assuming that they will have a bit more drag then my 225's.

Have you installed them yet?
I have a hard time seeing 18x10/+25's fitting within the wells. I accidentally got shipped an 18x10/+22, and at full tilt-in camber, they still stuck out about 8mm beyond the well.
I had a 265 on it , and it was only barely stretched. A 245 might make it work.

Without the tire:

Your suspension needs to settle tho.

I run 18/10 +25 all around. I'm slammed more than most and never even come close to hitting rim to fender. With 275 rear and to big guys in the back seat I only rubber the tire up in the fender well.

I'll take your word for it, then.
But I have coilovers, so they don't settle much, and it was just as bad sitting on the tire.

When I first put my coils on the wheels stuck out. Went for a drive and everything settled and it was fine.

I've also ran 18/10 +20 with stretched tires and was fine.

well, I will probably have these on in about 2 weeks so will take photos of the fitment and show it. (will do another set of photos with the 18x10 +38 Works as well to show the difference although the rubber is wider on the works)

Okay.. scratch that.. just sold the wheels.. lol. More money into my Tundra Fund....
