not crazy about stretching tires. ill maybe skimp down a size or two depending on the wheels. Back to looking :/

Curious why you want to run with that offset. Super deal on rims? my 18x9.5 rears have a +38 offset and they are right on the cusp of being too far out on the fender. If I hit a really big dip at high speed, the edge of my quarter fender will touch the outside lip of my tire. (not what I consider desirable)

And I only have about a 1" drop on my car. If my wheels were +15, I think that I would be riding the rubber (haven't tried this, but I think the math would prove out.

I run +25 front. Never rubs with fender with a slightly stretch tire. +15 is doable but it will most likely require super stretched tires or a pull.

Have a little stretch is not bad and get rid of any sidewall flex. 275 was perfect on 10" wheel. 265 was slightly stretched and 255 has a little more.

Ive been looking for wheels and the price wasnt bad. the only thing is the rears are too agressive. I think i may end up going with some xxr's 18x10+25 all around. Just gotta decide on tire sizes now.

I plan on running Meghan track coil over and have a set of 18x8 +20 front 18x9.5 +20 rear what size tires would you recommend?

Depending how low you go 245 or 235 front and 265 or 255 rear.

That is what I run. Depends on how low you are. Will need a pull. 275 is fine in the rear. I had rubbing issues with 265 front on lock and driveways. I'm also slammed like fender is where the top of the tire is. 255 doesn't rub at all.

If you were not that low or have adjustability could run 295 rear and 285 front. Would need to be stiff tho so you don't hit the fender.

Hoping some of those who know can answer this question...

I have Work Seekers (disco'd wheels in about 2004) and they have chrome insets on a polished barrel. (3 piece)

My rear wheel is off center slightly so I am going to get the wheels reconditioned. What I am wondering is, can I disassemble these and have the centers (chrome) powder coated? Is it wise? Or.. am I asking for a whole lot of hurt?

Thank you Rodel, I just had my valve covers/intake powder coated with the car color (Toyota Magnetic Metallic grey), thinking of doing same for the chrome portion. Was going to go black but though it would set the wheels off with the polished barrels still standing out

I just have one question what are the widest wheels you can put on a 1987 supra mk3 with all the fender rolls and pulls without the wide body.......
Thanks:icon_bigg:naughty::icon_razz:icon_bigg:1zhelp::1zhelp:

Thinking about running 17x9.5 +18 all around. But want to run the fattest rubber possible. The only other option would be +38 in that size. Would be using RSR race springs + bilstein shocks. Should I get the higher offset and some spacers? I know the +18 will fit with a roll, but I'm not sure how much the tires would have to be stretched.

i have 18x 9.5. can't remember the exact offset, but i'm pretty sure it's +12 or +15. i had a 275-35 on there with a roll only. i think the rear camber was less than 2* also.
i also had some 18x9.5 +35's on there with the 275's, and there was no issues either.

Yeah, my 18x10.5+30s fit close to identical to an 18x9.5+18, so that's how I know a 275/35 works with a roll and a little camber (around 1.5-2deg neg)

i ran 17 x 9.5” rims on mine all round with rsr and kyb combo.
2deg neg at front and 235/45. rear has had 255 and 275 no worries. i even ran the 255 on front for a while and it was okay majority of the time. only rubbed sometimes.
this was with just a roll all round.
