I already have fresh 255/45 rubber on current 17x8 rims, so wanting to reuse. I don't think 255 is much "stretch" at all on 9", and minimal on 9.5"? (I would likely go 265~285 on rear next round.)
So +15 will "clear" on a minor drop at that size? This is my 1st concern.
Thanks!

I can't roll because one if my rear fenders has a bondo repair right where you would roll it

Appreciate your input. Of all people, I KNOW you know wheels, rubber and stance!
To clarify, when you say 255 "won't stretch" on 9.5", do you mean it "can't" fit a 9.5" or that it's not MUCH of a stretch at all? If the former, then I shouldn't go over 9" width w/255... if the latter, then I'm good to go 9.5" w/ 255/45/17 +15?
Thank you,

255 will fit on a 9.5", but it's not MUCH of a stretch at all. (Actually, there will be no stretch). You're good to go on 9.5"+15 w/ 255/45/17
