what kind of car did you guys drive before you Supra? What happened with it for you to get your Supra

I had a 94 SLP Firehawk w/ built motor, H/C, and lots of nitrous 200 wet shot

unfortunatley i had a faulty FPR from Lingenfelter and it became a literal FIREhawk, when it caught on fire and burned up last year, after that i got my supra

Technically the Supra is MY first car... I bought it, therefore I consider it as such...

Prior to that, I had an 88 MR2 n/a T-Top that was quite a bit of fun.

I bought it for $100 with a badly knocking engine.
Bought an engine for $300 and had it installed for $400, mentioned that there was a noise in the transmission, and to fix or replace the trans if necessary.

Got it back and he said that he couldnt figure out what the noise was in the transmission. I just shook my head and said whatever to that...

Had tons of fun in that car, but one day the noise got incredibly loud and then it popped out of gear. I had to hold it in 2nd and 4th, or else it would pop right out.

Started snowing as I was driving home. When I finally got home, there was like 2" of snow already, and I got stuck in my driveway. Spinning 2nd stationary in my driveway the trans grenaded right then and there.

Ended up selling it for $400 as it sat.

Found my Supra about a year later. I didn't have a job at the time, but I got one asap when I found the car.

My first car was a '91 Ford Tempo, then '88 Ford F-150, Traded for '87 N/A Auto Supra that is now undergoing 1jz 5spd swap. Fiance bought a '95 New Yorker which was about to lose it's entire front suspension, so we traded it for a '95 Toyota 4-Runner. Once it was paid off we decided we needed better fuel milage, so traded it in on an '02 Acura RSX Type S (Her current DD). Found an '86 Toyota Corolla GT-S (AE86) in local junkyard for $250 and sat in driveway for about a year waiting to get put into running order. Supra was my DD until somebody backed into it, crunching the fender and rendering undrivable (would have sliced the tire). Put the Supra into storage awaiting repair and got the '86 into running order and became my DD (still is). Fixed the fender on the Supra and found that the Auto trans was slipping badly. Decided not to waste my $$$ on rebuilding the Auto trans and put into storage yet again until I got my JZA70 clip which got here last week and now I'm currently in the process of the swap at which point I will have to divide my attention between my two Toyota sweethearts. The newly Twin Turbo 5spd Supra and the beater AE86.

Last one was a 77 Mitusbishi Lancer Coupe (I think they were an Arrow there)

I dropped a built Astron 2L with a T04 into it and had some fun as it was only 800 kgs/ 1700 lbs and had 250hp.

It was very primative so when the Supra came up at a great price I snapped it up.

1978 Malibu Classic, 4 doors, 305cid V8 2bbl, 3spd auto.

New interior, motor, and trans after i got it and a job.
Second car, (Patience was her name) 87 Supra Turbo Targa 5spd.
Third Car, the infamous 73 Celica
4th Car (still have) 82 Toyota Corolla (3tc, toyota pushrods!)
83 Toyota Supra (love it more than my 87 even w/o boost but that can be fixed)

First car a 1989 GMC Jimmy K15 with a removable top on the back that made it look like a pickup. 33" pirelli tires with a 2 inch lift. Got crashed into when I pulled into an intersection after I couldnt see around a raised F250. I THOUGHT the intersection was clear. Turns out there was a buick regal going about 55 in a 45. Anyway.....guy totaled his car and I drove mine home. But my dad didnt think it was worth fixing so it went off to the junkyard. See the damage in my sig. Then I went carless for about 8 weeks. With my dad disagreeing with every car I showed him. So i took it into my own hands and told a friend to drive me out to look at a 87 5 speed Supra. Ended up taking it for 1000 and learned how to drive stick on the way home. I only stalled maybe 5 times for about a half hour ride.

first car was a 90' nissan stanza. it had a scry transmission so it would rarely make it past 60 km/h. it died a horrible death while parked after it was hit by a drunk driver at 2am. it was fun... for 2 weeks... :icon_conf
