Whats your fastest highway mph ??

Last night pulled 120 didn't like the way the car felt suspension wise so I let off the gas don't know how much faster it would of gone, what about yours?
List car model N/A or Turbo 5spd or Auto and mods if you'll like.

my car is a 1990 turbo automatic, stock, I've gone 120 still pulling alot.

Lower your car then put it at 150 dont forget some good struts

Mine easily pulls 150/mph-5000 rpm in top gear with the auto.
(GPS verified and done on a closed test track)

Car is quite drivable at this speed after cranking 1/4 turn of damping into the Koni's, was a bit floaty before that.

Remember guys the stock speedo is very inaccurate over 100, list RPM and rear tire size please.

i have had 135 mph out of mine and it handled really well. i did it for about a mile and a half. its a 1989 3.0 turbo auto with a K&N filter. apart from that its all standard.it still had plenty to go on the pedal too, well impressed.

approached 140 when a guy from school passed me and i hammered it to pass him. then realized how fast i was going. i was on the PA turnpike. i was like wow. brakes. right lane. 65mph. please no flashing lights! that was in my first supra with a MBC, 3" elbow, hks dp, stock exhaust and cheesy cone air filter.

edit: i was also on tokico blues struts, not lowered. felt steady.

well just before my turbo went i was pulling an easy 5600rpm and 225/50/17 wheels 1990 auto i ignored the speedo i was just looking ahead but have a safc in front of passenger seat, mate said the 5600 on the safc. dunno the speed tho

i did 140 when racing my buddies 300zx and it was still pulling. smooth as silk with stock tems. on stock rims. blew his doors right off when he was doing about 120.

120 stock NA at around 5-5.5k RPM on stock tire size. Car felt just the same as when I was doing 70, very stable, just more wind noise, targa was out.

was doing about 3000 or 4000 but the car didn't feel as stable as it should have, and I don't wanna risk driving like that as I don't have much experience.

I love how quick it gets there tho, someday will have a turbo

Actual top speed unknown, pegged my speedometer at 130mph. My speedometer was GPS verified to be accurate to at least 120mph.

Another time, we flew by another mk2 who was doing 120mph, with our speedo pegged, he estimates we were doing at least 140 (tach was around 6300rpm in 5th, so that's about right)

155 mph and still pulling @ 6300rpm ( i think, long time ago). @ the time the car was bpu. rear tire wer 235/50/16, 3.7 lsd 5speed would be curious to know how accurate that was, what do you think ij ?

haha we're pretty similar.. except i went 105 in my 88 n/a manual. All I have on it are an exhaust and K&N filter. Didnt wanna go any further cause I have bad tie rod ends (dangerous.. im bout to fix em) and not too experienced.. maybe next time :biglaugh:

Around 110-115 mph. Just messing around pulling from 70 in 5th. The car was very smooth and even seemed to get quieter the faster it went. kind of freaked me out. The corolla hit 97 and it felt like if was going to implode.

Auto, Tokico Ill II on Eibach springs. Stock turbo, aftermarket filter, Lexus AFM, 500cc injectors, Walbro 3" dp and muffler system....
