Was about to post the same thing.
140 mph gps confirmed, was showing 150mph on the speedo. Could have gone on well past 150 but was catching traffic pretty fast.

About 165....gauge obviously stops before that but not sure if the speed is 100% accurate but pretty darn close acording to the apexi speed/rev gauge!

Theoretically, I could hit ~147 at the top of 5th. 4th ends at ~121. Highest highway speed is 65 although it has not seen a highway in months :cry:

I was hitting about 135 mph at a PCA event the other month, then I had to start braking way early because my brakes were horrible.
Also, I have a GPS in my car.
EDIT: A few laps into it also, I was going down the long straight and my speedo stopped working. That sucked, but it's not like it was close to being right anyways, I was looking at the speed on my D3.

my speedo is always buried due to a broken cable:3d_frown: Fastest is just under 5000 rpm in fifth. 87 turbo 5speed 3.91 LSD, full 3in exhaust no catss:naughty:
Never made a "how fast can I go" run, but I did hit 125mph on the highway once cruising in my '89 turbo and not realize. It felt like 70, perfectly stable, and the targa was off also.

had my n.a 5spd at 125, took 4eva to get there, once i get my car registerd just finished the swap... ill see what the gte can do
IJ, wow i had no idea the speedo was that inacurate and low @ that, is that normal? i mean you would think it would read higher than fact.
