Hafa Adai dude and welcome! I sold my '82 MkII Supra back in 1984 before I moved to Guam. I loved my car too much to take it over there and watch it rust. I bought a new '89 MkIII five years later when I left and still own it. I can't believe too many Supras have survived the years on the islands. Do you see many there?

Hey thanks for the welcome dude. I think theres only 1 mk3 and 4 mk4 here now. I bought 3 7mgte motors and 1 r154 trans for $1800. I'm currently mounting 1 with arp head studs torqued down 90lbs and cometic head with a clutch master stage 3 6 puck on my 94 toyota pickup extra cab. It's gonna be sweet. All the mk3 here are over rusted so I guess the guy I bought it from salvaged all the motors. But he forgot the rears and junked them. Lol! You in Guam?

No, I rotated out of Andersen way back in '89. I visited once back in '02, but that was the last time. Good luck with your truck. I know they repaved Marine Drive--I hope they didn't use coral as aggregate again! I used to slide through intersections after rains because that shit was so slick!

Wow that's a long time. A lot has changed here on island. There's two lanes, three lanes, and four lanes now with the non skid asphalt. But some roads are still slippery with the old asphalt. I re member pulling out a store with my lexus sc400 and slidding almost into someone's house. Oh yeah they legalized the casino here so there building up now. It's turning into a large tourist playground with a lot of currupt politics. But I guess that's life.

Gov Guam was always the biggest and most corrupt employer on the island. I hated "election" times when all the scenery would disappear behind the "Vote for Bordallo" and "Vote LeonGuerrero" signs. The scuba diving was always great, though!
