What's the fastest stock motor 7M?

Well, I have basic mods really... titan hg and arp studs, turbo back, ic pipes and ic, msd coils, trd clutch, fidanza fw, intake, 550's, lex afm, 16psi?, wires, and i think thats it...

i plan on going with a safc II and things like a afpr, pump, and wideband also..
Also a set of et street radials..

I'm just wonder as a short term goal if I can get there with a good tune...

We will see...

how much boost is the CT26 usable for? Mine has no shaft play.

Man, I can't wait to hit 11's... After these lil mods, I'm saving for a nice turbo for sure.

CT26's have been pushed towards 20 psi in STOCK trim. Do they last long? Nope. Do they get you into the 11's? With a good driver/setup, yes.

Rich in Ohio did 11.95 with STOCK CT, Stock IC, I believe a 3200 stall (Automatic FTW), slicks and spray.

Fastest I know of yet is a local down in Kentucky did 11.7 with an upgraded CT.

We have a nice little group of people on Supramania...but there are tons of people out there that don't know we exist, and probably have some fast @$$ cars that we don't know about...

For fastest stock motor 7M...10's baby, 10's.

18psi for a few passes at the track?

I jus bought a TRD clutch also, can't wait to try it out.. Bidding on an SAFC also, 14 more hours for a $120 SAFC w0000tt!!!

I'm not worried about the turbo dieing... Well, kinda... I plan on upgrading sometime in 08 whenever funds allow..

My little brother are are competing now.. He just bough the same as I have, but with a built motor, stock turbo, same mods ecept he has a W58.. It's going to be interesting come spring time..

I want to break into 12's by then.. I have 18X10 wheels, looks like I'm gonng need a good drag radial tire also.. Any input on a good tire?

18's and low profile tires dont perform well at the track.

id suggest the MT et drag radial. you can put them on the stock wheels, but you will loose a little contact patch running a 255 on a x7 rim. they still hook really good tho, and imo the best drag radial out there.

An RX7 rim is perfect for that tire, it's 16x8 and the tire is meant to be mounted on a 7"-9" rim. A stock 16x7 sawblade is actually on the small end for that tire and would cause it to bow more down the center of the tire. I wouldn't give it a second thought running it as it's designed to run on a 7" rim, but the RX7 rim seems the better choice to me and is also very light weight. They are the best drag radial out there IMO.
